00:33Hi, my name's Amy Pearson and I'm from Liversidge. I entered the competition to be a Great Yorkshire model showcasing British wool designs.
00:43I live in a farm in Liversidge with my husband and two children. We've got lots of sheep, probably too many, and three tractors which keep my boys busy.
00:55I applied because we had a bad lambing this year which I think a lot of farmers have had and I just wanted to have a little bit of me time which I've had. It's been wonderful and I've really enjoyed myself.
01:07We're here today just on the outskirts of York in this beautiful location. We're actually here photographing for the Great Yorkshire Show fashion shows.
01:15It's been an amazing day for the very first time we've met some of our farmer models which has been really brilliant to get to know them and I think they've absolutely loved it.
01:25They're already building up I think to the fashion shows where they'll be taking part on the catwalk twice a day on the sheep shearing stage.
01:34Our focus as always is farm to fashion and British wool as we've done in previous years so amazing content for the catwalk this year.
01:45It's been a little preview into what's going to be in store and for the very first time this year we're actually going to be focusing on a whole new project which is about recycling.
01:57Of course in the fashion industry recycling is such a huge thing so that's very exciting that we can actually incorporate wool garments into recycling whole new looks.
02:10So we're very very excited the countdown is on and we'll soon be doing the full preparation and choreography for the catwalk shows.
02:18So we hope to see you all at the Great Yorkshire Show from the 9th to the 12th of July.
02:24We do two shows a day on the Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at 12 o'clock and 4.30pm and on the Friday we'll be there at 12 o'clock and 3pm.
02:34So really hope to see you all there.
