00:50At ngayong taon, napawaw ng Siete Pecados Marine Park sa Curon, Palawan, ang Marine Conservation Institute, isang US-based non-profit organization,
01:00na una ng nadawara ng prestigyosong parangal ang Tubataha Reefs Natural Park sa Palawan at Apo Reef Natural Park sa Occidental Mindoro.
01:10Pero siyempre, hindi ako mapapahuling malaman ang sekreto ng Siete Pecados Marine Park.
01:24May lawak na 1.8 square kilometers and part of the Calamianes Island Marine Protected Area Network,
01:38tinawag itong Siete Pecados dahil binubuo ito ng seven limestone islets.
01:44Pero bago maging Marine Protected Area noong 2005,
01:49Noong 1998 po, dinidinamita at sinasayanid lang ito, kaya po nagkaroon ng initiative yung community na maprotektahan ito.
01:57Pwede lang po dito is manage tourism activities.
02:00Then, ang ibinalik po namin sa community, binigyan namin sila ng livelihood katulad nung sila po yung nagdadala ng mga turista dito,
02:07in which habang nagagwarya sila, pumikita po sila dun sa project.
02:11Dahil dito, di lang naprotektahan ang marine ecosystem, na kinabang din ang komunidad.
02:18Hindi siya in-aid ng government, undi siya ang magbibigay ng income sa government,
02:23kasi sa 100% na income ng Siete Pecados, 20% no, nakukunta sa local government ng Corona.

03:00We saw a school pa lang of barracudas, yun yung talaga hinaabangan natin dito.
03:05Marami pang ibang-ibang mga fish yung nakita natin, corals, na talagang na-appreciate mo yung effort ng komunidad dito
03:14na pangalagaan at saka palaguin pa itong coral reef natin dito sa Siete Pecados.
