00:00Aston Villa's highly anticipated 2024-25 Premier League fixtures have now been announced
00:07and it'll be a trip to West Ham United on the opening weekend on August 17th,
00:12a Saturday 5.30 kick-off for the Villains in East London, taking on West Ham who,
00:17under Hewlen Lopetegui, will be hoping to have an improved season of challenging for European
00:21football. So definitely not an easy tie to start things off but probably a winnable one nonetheless.
00:25And then the first home game on the following weekend on August 24th is against Arsenal at
00:30home, of course a very tough fixture against Mikel Arteta's side. They'll be looking to get revenge
00:35after what Villa did to them at the Emirates late on in last season. The Boxing Day trip
00:40is away at Newcastle United, another tough game for a key fixture. Other games around that period
00:46include Manchester City and Brighton over the festive period. And then the final day of the
00:50season, Manchester United away from home at Old Trafford. All these key fixtures are about as tough
00:57as it gets, aren't they really, apart from maybe like Liverpool or Chelsea and their other fixtures
01:02towards the end of the season include Man City once again, lots of Fulham, Tottenham, AFC Bournemouth
01:07and then Manchester United on the final day. So a very tough fixture run for Aston Villa in terms
01:13of the key fixtures but of course they will have periods of playing teams at a more mid-table
01:19and near the bottom of the table at other points in the season.
