After the first two albums "Memories" was a posthumous release in 1968, Richard had died in a motorcycle accident two years before. The tracks of "Memories" come from different souces, there are some session out-takes, some are probably work-in-progress tracks, and there are two live tracks taken from the pair's successful appearance at the 1965 Newport Folk Festival, as well as two songs by Mimi's sister Joan Baez.
