00:49Dengue cases have increased in various regions, such as Western Visayas or Region 6.

00:55According to the Department of Health Region 6, there were 71 cases from May 26 to June 1.

01:06Dengue attack rates in Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, and Gimaras increased.

01:12While clustering of dengue cases in 23 barangays in the region was observed.

01:18Dengue cases also increased in Zamboanga Peninsula, according to DOH Region 9.

01:23In one statement, DOH said that they continue to monitor dengue cases in the country,

01:45Dengue cases increased in the regions of Cordillera, Ilocos, Zamboanga Peninsula,

01:55According to DOH, the increase in female Aedes aegypti has a major effect on the temperature.

02:04According to studies, dengue-carrying mosquitoes breed faster at a temperature of 26 to 35 degrees Celsius.

02:16dengue cases also increased to 130 in 2023 compared to 71 cases in 2022,

02:24according to the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control.
