00:00 Emmanuel Macron is going to be speaking for two hours in this press conference
00:03 that is organized here in central Paris but not in the Elysée Palace and that is
00:07 important to note. He is speaking as the leader of the Renaissance Party and not
00:13 as the president of France, though of course there is a mix in those messages.
00:17 But in any case we're expecting Emmanuel Macron to outline the campaign, his
00:22 targets, his objective as the whole of the French presidential political
00:27 spectrum is being divided into three groups, one to the left, one to the right
00:32 and one at the center that indeed Emmanuel Macron is the de facto
00:35 president of. He is going to try and convince other politicians to join him
00:40 to try and create a large enough coalition in order to win these
00:44 parliamentary elections. It's going to be very difficult. Yesterday Gabriel Attal,
00:48 the Prime Minister, spoke on TF1. He explained that he would be the leader of
00:53 this campaign. It's a very short campaign, it's a real challenge with, as I was
00:58 saying, this concept of trying to regroup as many MPs as possible in order to
01:04 manage to have a credible candidate and a real political space at the center
01:10 here in France.
