00:00 We are still talking about some storms right now. We're going to start off with a quick look at the
00:03 forecast across the country and just talking about a severe thunderstorm, a tornado warned
00:09 a storm here into Florida. We're going to dive into that in just a moment. Also following
00:13 thunderstorms, kind of an arcing band stretching from North Carolina all the way north into upstate
00:18 New York and in the midst of that we have a severe thunderstorm watch still going here for a little
00:23 while longer until 9 p.m. Eastern time including areas such as Atlantic City and Virginia Beach and
00:28 that ties into our top story, that being the threat for more severe weather after tornadoes
00:34 rolled through Maryland last night. You can hear the debris again hitting this vehicle. Video shows
00:40 what appears to be a tornado hitting an intersection in Gaithersburg, Maryland while there was damage
00:46 to homes. The PIO for the Maryland Department of Emergency Management tells us they did not know
00:51 of any serious injuries. We're going to take you live here to Washington, D.C. for our top story
00:57 and conditions have definitely calmed down here for our nation's capital. That's definitely some
01:02 good news. Also I have some good news here that tornado warning was allowed to expire early on
01:08 here. So again that has been canceled now east of Orlando. Still looking at a very significant
01:14 storm though so we're going to go into that here in just a moment. I do want to take us up into
01:18 our nation's capital right now. You're looking at the views out there, quite nice. There are a couple
01:23 of showers off to the north of D.C. that we're currently seeing but overall conditions have
01:28 definitely calmed down. We did have a couple of severe thunderstorm warnings earlier on this
01:33 afternoon and this evening. We'll go off toward the north here where there are also a couple of
01:38 downpours now making their way east to Pittsfield toward Worcester, also heading toward Burlington.
01:44 Not a lot of lightning with this activity that's also some severe but we did have a couple of
01:49 warnings earlier on here into North Carolina as well as Virginia. Not seeing any warnings right
01:55 now so some more good news. Nevertheless we are following some heavy rain as it slides its way
02:00 east of Roanoke Rapids toward the coastal plain and we're also following some downpours as they
02:05 approach Jacksonville and Wilmington here not too far from the interstate 40. I want to go back down
02:12 south into that severe thunderstorm warned storm here in and around Orlando. Earlier on that had
02:18 the tornado warning with it and again we were talking about that because of the population
02:24 that was under that tornado warning was over 562,000. So no longer looking at a tornado threat
02:31 but we still do have the concern here for damaging winds and a large hail until eight o'clock for
02:37 Seminole County, Florida. Also for Orange County, Florida stretching to Lake County, Florida.
02:43 So again in these areas again be prepared for some very very heavy rainfall as well as again
02:49 some potential again hail and damaging winds. You can also see earlier on we had some reports here
02:55 this was actually the previous day again of some damage here into the state of Florida due to some
03:00 wind damage. Let's take you through time here with future radars. We go throughout the evening
03:04 thunderstorms will be winding down and winding their way off the coast but there will be some
03:09 additional thunderstorms developing here on Friday. Sub-severe but still noteworthy as they
03:16 can produce some delays perhaps some backups along the New York State Thruway, Interstate 80,
03:20 even Interstate 95 here can see a shower too. We head toward the weekend looks great here around
03:27 New York and Pittsburgh. A little cool in Buffalo. Look at that 66 degrees. The 60s also toward
03:32 Burlington and you'll notice here as we go through time we're not talking about any major warmth
03:38 coming soon. Instead we'll stay in the 70s here around Pittsburgh, Detroit and Lexington right
03:44 through the weekend. I'm going to give you a little glimpse of early next week. High pressure builds in
03:49 so again if you're say Interstate 99 on west throughout the Ohio Valley or high and dry it's
