00:05 I don't like to rain on people's parade, but I'm not happy with this one.
00:10 Congratulations to Joker, you're the best big man in the league, but
00:13 based on everybody's criteria, my criteria, stats, that stuff.
00:18 You guys criteria, number one seed, which team has a better record?
00:22 I felt Shea Alexander deserved it.
00:25 >> I think a part of Shaq, he might not ever admit this, but
00:28 Shaq see these guys winning these MVPs, they're a little envious.
00:31 Because, and I don't care, look, I understand that Shaq got four titles and
00:35 he has three finals MVPs, but Shaq know deep down,
00:41 we should be having a discussion for go Shaq.
00:44 Shaq name has never brought up in the discussion.
00:47 I know for a fact, if Shaq would have had, let's just say,
00:51 if he had my work ethic, he'd have 40,000 points.
00:55 >> Mojo, that was the setup for the beef that I don't think anybody saw coming,
00:59 involving two of the greatest athletes that we've seen in American history and
01:03 two of the most prominent voices in media, sports media at least, right now.
01:09 Shaq and Shannon Sharp, of course, Mojo.
01:12 That first was Shaquille O'Neal, right before they presented the MVP award
01:18 to Nicola Jokic the other day on Inside the NBA.
01:22 Well, Shannon Sharp then responded to what Shaq had to say.
01:27 Now, this did not get past Shaq.
01:32 Shaq heard about this and actually went to social media and
01:35 clapped back at Shannon Sharp.
01:37 Now, it was a really long message.
01:39 Go to the TMZ Sports website if you wanna see it in its entirety.
01:42 But here's a part of what Shaquille O'Neal had to say, and
01:45 it's pretty tough stuff.
01:47 I know you're trying to stay relevant by gossiping on your podcast.
01:51 We don't believe you.
01:52 You need more people, and in case you forgot, four rings, three finals,
01:56 MVPs, top 50, and top 75, Google me.
02:00 And to be quite frank, all this new success you got, you're still under me.
02:05 You don't know my work ethic, but according, I work less than you, but
02:09 I'm worth more than you.
02:11 Make it make sense.
02:12 Love you too.
02:14 If you need help making money, it's better ways than gossiping.
02:18 I'm too old for this bleep.
02:21 Love always, the most dominant big man ever, who never took it serious.
02:27 So their mojo, that's again part of what Shaq had to say back to Shannon
02:32 based off what Shannon said on his podcast.
02:34 Now, Shannon has since responded on social media.
02:39 We're not even gonna talk about that mojo because Shaq really dropped a big bomb
02:43 here because Shannon actually woke up the rapper in Shaquille O'Neal.
02:48 Shaquille O'Neal has released a diss track taking aim at Shannon Sharp,
02:53 I guess, inspired by Drake and Kendrick Lamar.
02:58 Here's some of that song.
02:59 >> Oh no, Shannon Sharp, man, you way beneath me.
03:03 Your whole demeanor is faker than new rapper Beefy.
03:06 You're soft before you get fly, you rather tweet me.
03:09 I was in three different cars when you was in three feet.
03:12 All I see is dollar signs, they come in in 3D.
03:15 Make it hot, ain't no way around my degree.
03:18 You are not in my spot, you are like a peewee.
03:21 Shula got him calling me Rocky the way I re-read.
03:24 I get to the green bag, I don't mean a lawnmower.
03:27 Jet flying, four-wheel driving, Best Buy and Don Pora.
03:30 >> I didn't see this coming, Mojo, I'll be honest.
03:32 >> Hey man, Shaq was just looking for a reason to revamp his rap career,
03:37 now he just got him back on track.
03:40 >> Yeah.
03:40 >> Hey man, this was interesting, Babcock, we talked about this yesterday, right?
03:44 I mean, hey, Shaquille O'Neal has paid a lot of money to give his opinion.
03:50 And his opinion is worth a lot, not only because of what he did on a court,
03:54 because of how articulate and intelligent he is.
03:57 A lot of other people have paid for their opinions as well, and
04:00 not everyone is always going to see eye to eye Shannon Sharp giving his opinion
04:06 on the matter, maybe he made it personal, and maybe he meant every single word he
04:11 said, I believe that he did, and you know when you do that,
04:15 the situation is just gonna get exacerbated.
04:18 Shaq came back with his opinion and so on and so forth, and
04:23 who knows how this is gonna go, but I don't know, Babcock, I don't know.
04:27 I'm just not seeing this as a personal attack.
04:31 I mean, I don't see any of these guys getting too upset about this thing.
04:34 I mean, they're on air, they're gonna give their clap back, they can handle it.
04:38 They got tough skin, right?
04:40 I mean, we see these guys mix it up all the time with some of the biggest
04:43 trash talkers in the game, and it's fine.
04:46 So we're reaping the benefits here with a little rap track and
04:50 having a little fun here.
04:51 But I mean, yeah, I don't know, it gets a little personal when you start talking
04:56 about each other's legacies, but I can't say neither of them opened the door for
05:01 it, you know?
05:01 >> Yeah, and look, but at the end of the day, they're both a hall of famers,
05:05 the greatest, some of the greatest athletes in their respective sports.
05:09 >> Sure, Shaq was better than Shannon was as a football player, but
05:12 Shannon, one of the best.
05:14 I'm curious to see here if Shannon releases his own diss track.
05:18 I don't think Shannon has rapped before, I hope he starts now.
05:21 >> Yeah. >> Get in the studio, Shannon.
