00:00Hello OG, I am Joe and we are here in Urbiztondo, San Juan La Union, where we will find a Balinese
00:07Asian modern boutique inn called Herbside Villa.
00:10Tara, pasok tayo!
00:12If you have already arrived here in Urbiztondo, San Juan La Union, you would notice that it's
00:30a very busy and bustling tourist destination, pero pag nandito ka sa Herbside Villa, napaka
00:36tahimik, napaka serene, malayo siya sa high activity ng mga turist doon sa beach area.
00:42So guys, kung mapapansin niyo yung entrance nila, maliit lang, and it's kind of unassuming,
00:47pero pagpasok mo sa loob, malaki siya and spacious.
00:50Pagdating mo rito, makikita mo meron silang tinatawag na sunken lounge.
00:54Itong sunken lounge, guys, inspired siya ng mga tinatawag natin na garden fire pit, pero
01:00siyempre dahil nasa Pilipinas tayo, walang fire.
01:06So dito, parang siyang receiving area kung saan yung mga bisita pagpasok, paupuin muna
01:11nila dito bago i-admit either sa mga rooms or sa restaurant kung saan pwede silang mag-dine
01:16and mag-chill out with friends.
01:27So dahil nga modern Asian Balinese yung design, meron ditong wall impression of Buddha right
01:32across from the sunken lounge.
01:36Tapos, meron din silang nilagay dito na incense, mabango siya.
01:40So ito yung naamoy ko kanina.
01:42Let's go, dito pa, check natin.
01:52So one good thing about this property is yung energy conservation method nila in terms of
01:57cooling and lighting.
01:59So makikita nyo guys, marami mga plants, so presko.
02:05Bukod pa sa mga plants, malalaki yung windows.
02:07So they let more air in.
02:09Bukod pa dun sa mga air is meron din silang tinatawag na skylight roofing so they can
02:14let more light in.
02:15Para rin hindi na masyadong gumamit ng modern lighting pag-umaga.
02:30Bukod pa dun dito guys, nakikita nyo, merong pond tapos merong mga koy.
02:34So kung gusto mo lang mag-relax, panoorin mo lang silang gumagalaw dyan, tapos damhin
02:38mo lang yung tunog ng tubig dito sa napaka tahimik na place na ito.
02:50Within the property, meron silang restaurant.
02:52It's up there, sa second floor.
02:54Dito naman sa ground floor, meron silang coffee bar.
02:57You know what, must try yung kanilang Kuros Chocolate.
03:00And pet friendly yung area so you can bring your fur babies.
03:03And by the way, they accept walk-ins.
03:07So from the coffee bar, doon sa ground floor, dito naman sa second floor is yung kanilang
03:17puro restaurant.
03:25Meron kang option, kung gusto mo naka-aircon, doon ka sa loob.
03:28Pwede rin namang alfresco dito sa area na ito.
03:38Guys, pagka'y malilito, nandito pa rin tayo sa loob ng curbside villa.
03:46This is open for walk-in guests from 7am to 9pm.
03:50And you know what, you can celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, or simple get-together with
03:55your barakadas here, patulod namin, sa OG.
04:01Kuro offers a wide range of food options, including a favorite coffee,
04:07sweet cravings, as well as sophisticated comfort cuisine.
04:13Curbside villa offers two type of rooms, the queen suite, and the cube suite, which
04:42is where we are right now.
04:47It's located here in the second floor and has its own private patio.
05:00This room can accommodate up to 4 persons.
05:05Each room have their own bathrooms.
05:07The cube suite in the ground floor has Balinese design.
05:12While the suites in the second floor have Japanese minimalist style.
05:35And that ends our tour of curbside villa.
