Liverpool features in Time Out's World's Best Cities for Food guide

00:14 Liverpool also took 7th place in Time Out's '50 Best Cities in the World' guide earlier

00:19 To compile the new foodie rankings, Time Out quizzed thousands of local people in cities

00:22 around the world on their city's must-visit restaurants, must-eat dishes and best-value

00:27 bites and were also asked to rate their city's food scene on both its quality and affordability.

00:32 The final list features the highest scoring cities, ranked from 1 to 20.

00:36 Taking the number one spot was Naples, celebrated for its old-school pizzerias.

00:40 Liverpool ranked at number 11, with the USA's only entry, Portland, snatching the last spot
