00:00 The story of the first people contains many lessons and teachings for us. But what lessons can we learn from the story of the Prophethood with us?
00:25 Let's find out in today's episode of My Quran Time, Quran, Salat and Infaq.
00:38 And make it for us two evidences, O Lord of the worlds.
00:58 In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful.
01:02 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy advisor.
01:23 Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
01:31 We praise Allah and ask for His help and forgiveness.
01:34 We seek refuge in Allah from the evil of our souls and from the evil of our deeds.
01:38 Whomsoever Allah guides, none can misguide him; and whosoever He sends astray, none can guide him.
01:42 I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger.
01:47 The Lord of all the worlds, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
01:49 And ease for me my heart and the affairs of my body, and the solution to my problem, that my tongue may understand my speech.
01:52 And peace be upon you.
01:56 Ladies and gentlemen, and to the audience in the studio, Alhamdulillah, we are back again in My Quran Time, Quran, Salat and Infaq.
02:05 And inshaAllah today, ladies and gentlemen, by the mercy of Allah, we are in Surah Al-A'raf, verse 68.
02:15 Ladies and gentlemen, you may open the Mus'haf from the beginning.
02:20 In page 159, verse 68, inshaAllah, we will try to go over from this verse to the 70th verse, inshaAllah.
02:36 And today I am accompanied by Al-Fadhil Al-Qari, I think I should call him Shaykh Al-Qurra'
02:45 Al-Fadhil Ustaz Tirmidhi, Assalamualaikum Ustaz.
02:47 Waalaikumussalam warahmatullahi wabarakatuh.
02:49 Al-Fadhil Ustaz Dr. Arif Al-Qari, all of them.
02:54 Can I play a passing balik?
02:56 Yes, you can.
02:57 Zohur prayer at Masjid Kampong Baru, we are wearing the same blue shirt.
03:02 Allah! If I knew you would bring that, I would not be ready to answer you.
03:07 We have many episodes.
03:09 Ustaz, inshaAllah, what is the story we are going to tell today?
03:13 Yes, inshaAllah, Al-Fadhil Ustaz Dr. Arif, today we will share 3 verses with our audience.
03:20 For sure, our audience are waiting for the continuation from yesterday.
03:25 If we pay attention to the previous episode, there is a word, "Wa ila adin" in the 65th verse.
03:33 Today we will see what is the continuation of it.
03:36 If we pay attention to the previous episode, there is a word, "Qawminuhin".
03:43 What is it that we are going to tell today?
03:45 We want to hear what is the continuation of Dr. Arif Al-Qari's story.
03:49 Allah Allah, great.
03:51 Ladies and gentlemen, may Allah's mercy be upon you.
03:54 Before we go further about our topic today, we will first look at our synopsis today.
04:03 In the 68th verse, we will talk about the personality of a prophet as a message from Allah SWT.
04:12 In the 69th verse, we will talk about the argument of Prophet Hud AS towards his people.
04:22 In the 70th verse, we will talk about the rejection of the people of 'Ad towards the message of Prophet Hud AS.
04:34 So, without taking any more time, we will invite Al-Fadhil Ustaz to read first.
04:40 If possible, I would like to ask Ustaz to read 2 verses. Is that okay, Ustaz?
04:43 Sure.
04:44 Okay, 2 verses. If Allah wills it, we will discuss it. Please proceed, Ustaz.
04:47 Thank you, Al-Fadhil Ustaz, Dr. Muhammad Arif Musa.
04:50 In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious. Peace be upon you.
04:53 Ladies and gentlemen, how are you?
05:15 Hopefully, today, we will continue to pray for the health and recovery of Allah SWT.
05:21 Hopefully, the verses of Allah SWT will be easily recited and Allah will facilitate us to see and take the lesson.
05:30 We will try to be together in our daily life with the guidance of Allah SWT.
05:38 We will read first 2 verses, verse 68 and also verse 69, dear Dr. Al-Fadhil.
05:45 We will try to start with reciting the Muratil using the taranum hijaz.
05:53 Ladies and gentlemen, may the companions of the Prophet be on the right path.
05:56 In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious. Peace be upon you.
05:59 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
06:02 In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Gracious.
06:11 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy advisor.
06:28 Do you find it strange that a reminder has come to you from your Lord to a man from among you to warn you?
06:51 And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah.
07:11 And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah.
07:35 So remember the favors of Allah that you may be successful.
07:56 They said, "Have you come to us to worship Allah alone and to leave what our fathers worshipped?
08:19 Then bring us what you promise us, if you are of the truthful."
08:42 Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
08:51 I convey to you the messages of my Lord, and I am to you a trustworthy advisor.
08:59 Do you find it strange that a reminder has come to you from your Lord to a man from among you to warn you?
09:08 And remember when He made you successors after the people of Noah.
09:14 And He has exalted you in strength and appearance.
09:18 So remember the favors of Allah that you may be successful.
09:22 The first verse is from the words of Prophet Hud.
09:31 In the previous verse, "And I am the brother of Hud."
09:37 In the 65th verse, the story of Prophet Hud and his people, the Ad, begins.
09:45 It is explained that the Ad people live in Yemen.
09:54 There is a place called Bil'ahqaf in Yemen.
10:00 Allah Almighty has sent Prophet Hud to the Ad people because at that time, the Ad people began to worship other than Allah Almighty.
10:15 It is also mentioned in the previous verses that when Prophet Hud made da'wah, his people responded with arrogance.
10:27 In the 66th verse, they said, "Indeed, we see you in foolishness."
10:35 We say "safih" means "foolish" or "la yuhsinut tasarruf"
10:39 which means "the one who is not wise."
10:41 These are the words that are given to Prophet Hud by the Ad people.
10:45 "And indeed, we see you in foolishness."
10:47 They accused Prophet Hud of being a liar.
10:51 But what did Prophet Hud say in the 67th verse?
10:55 "Indeed, I am not in foolishness, but I am a messenger sent by Allah Almighty."
11:08 Let us continue with our verse today.
11:10 "I am a messenger sent by Allah Almighty."
11:17 What is my duty?
11:19 My duty is to convey to you the faith of Allah Almighty.
11:24 This is the duty of a messenger.
11:26 They were not sent to invade or rule us.
11:31 But they were sent to convey to you the faith of Allah Almighty.
11:39 "And I am the giver of advice that is trusted to you."
11:44 Why is it mentioned there?
11:46 "The giver of advice that is trusted."
11:50 This is the answer to the accusation that Prophet Hud is a liar.
11:55 Prophet Hud said, "I am only a trustworthy giver of advice."
11:59 What is meant by trustworthiness?
12:02 It is to convey the message of Allah Almighty.
12:05 We will discuss this in a moment.
12:07 Let us continue with Quran time, Quran prayer and infaq.
12:10 Quran time, Quran prayer and infaq.

15:44 Alhamdulillah, we are back in my Quran time, Quran prayer and infaq.
15:50 Ladies and gentlemen, may Allah Almighty bless you.
15:52 We are still in the 68th verse where Allah Almighty said,
15:57 "I convey to you the trust of my Lord, and I give the advice that is trusted to you."
16:05 The scholars of Tafsir, may Allah bless them all,
16:08 when they were interpreting this verse, they mentioned one aspect,
16:12 which is the way Prophethood responded to the people,
16:16 the way it responded to the people's Da'wah or Hidayah.
16:19 If we look at the previous verse,
16:22 they accused Prophethood as a fool,
16:26 and they accused Prophethood as a liar.
16:31 In this verse, Prophethood said, "I am not a liar.
16:35 My duty is only to convey the message of my Lord to you.
16:40 I am only a giver of advice."
16:43 A giver of advice is someone who wants to give good advice to others.
16:48 If we want to give advice to others,
16:50 it means we want to give good advice to them.
16:53 We are not giving good advice to ourselves.
16:55 We are giving advice to them.
16:58 Prophethood said, "I am a trustworthy person."
17:00 The scholars of Tafsir explained that if we look at this verse,
17:03 we can see how Prophethood did not respond to the accusations and insults of his people.
17:09 It is interesting, isn't it?
17:11 Prophethood tried to say, "I want to give you good advice, not to me."
17:17 Even though he said, "You are a fool."
17:20 He did not respond. He did not say, "I am not a fool. You are a fool."
17:23 He did not say that.
17:26 Sometimes, our ascetics need to be patient.
17:29 Sometimes, we see on social media that people are cursing the ustaz there and here.
17:35 Sometimes, the ascetics, it is not an easy thing.
17:39 But sometimes, we need to be patient.
17:41 So, they are against it.
17:43 Sometimes, when people write a little, they reply with 4-5 verses.
17:46 But if we look at the style of Prophethood to his people,
17:53 the way they responded to the accusations there and here,
17:56 it is very interesting.
17:58 "I am only a giver of advice. I want to give you good advice. I am a trustworthy person."
18:05 That is why sometimes,
18:07 when people insult us or write bad things about us,
18:13 if we respond appropriately,
18:16 we respond appropriately.
18:18 Sometimes, the person who was once an enemy becomes a good companion.
18:22 "If you do not do good, you will be rejected."
18:28 "You should respond appropriately."
18:32 Sometimes, the person who was once an enemy becomes a good companion.
18:39 Then, the next day.
18:41 That is the style of Prophethood that Prophethood tried to do here.
18:45 Prophethood emphasized that,
18:47 "I only want good things for you."
18:49 He did not respond.
18:51 He only carried out his duty.
18:52 Sometimes, as preachers,
18:54 we do not need to respond to every accusation that comes to us.
18:58 Sometimes, we just do not know.
19:00 We just carry on with our work.
19:02 Especially in social media,
19:04 sometimes people like us to do good work.
19:07 There will be people who criticize us.
19:09 "We do bad things." People criticize.
19:11 "We do good things." People criticize.
19:13 So, sometimes, preachers just carry on with their duties.
19:17 No matter what people say,
19:18 as long as we do good work,
19:20 as long as we follow Allah's Shari'ah,
19:22 as long as we are sincere in carrying out our duty,
19:25 we just carry on without having to respond to the words of people here and there.
19:30 Then, Prophethood emphasized on this verse about trust.
19:35 He emphasized on trust.
19:37 This is the importance of a messenger of Allah.
19:41 When Allah wants to choose someone to be a prophet and a messenger,
19:46 Allah chooses the best.
19:47 In this verse, Allah chooses someone who is trustworthy.
19:52 This is very important in conveying the message of Allah.
19:57 Why? Because we convey a message from the Almighty God.
20:01 If we convey a letter,
20:05 even an official letter,
20:07 we need to have a stamp, a sign, etc.
20:09 Especially when we convey a message from Allah.
20:14 This is why the character of trust is very important.
20:16 When we say the character of trust is very important,
20:19 we need to convey the message of Allah.
20:23 We need to make sure that what we say is based on knowledge.
20:29 We should not just build on the religion of Allah.
20:37 We need to convey that this is what Allah says.
20:42 We need to convey the message of trust in a responsible manner.
20:46 We should convey the message of trust in a responsible manner.
20:49 We should not build on the religion of Allah.
20:54 Trust is very important.
20:56 If we want to send a message,
20:59 for example, we want to send a message to someone who is not trustworthy.
21:02 For example, we want to send a message to someone who is not trustworthy.
21:05 We want to send a message to someone who is not trustworthy.
21:11 Even if we want to send a message,
21:12 trust is very important.
21:14 What else are we talking about?
21:16 It is only the words of Allah and His Messenger.
21:18 The character of trust is that
21:20 we need to convey the message of Allah.
21:26 We have finished the 68th verse.
21:34 Before we go to the 69th verse,
21:36 I would like to ask Al-Fadhil Ustaz to read the 69th verse first.
21:40 We will continue after that.
21:44 Thank you, Al-Fadhil Ustaz, Dr. Muhammad Arif, ladies and gentlemen,
21:48 and the blessed ones.
21:51 We will read the 69th verse.
21:54 We will find a word,
21:56 which is "Filkhalqi Bastah".
21:59 In short,
22:01 if we find the word "Bastah"
22:06 with the letter "C" on the top of the letter "S",
22:09 then according to our narration,
22:11 we will read it with the letter "Sin".
22:14 There is a long discussion about this in other records.
22:18 There is also a discussion in Surah Al-Baqarah,
22:21 which is the same.
22:24 But in this one, we find the word "Bastah"
22:27 with the letter "Sin" on the top of the letter "S".
22:29 There are instances where the letter "Sin" is below the letter "S".
22:32 So, we will read this one with the letter "Sin".
22:35 "Filkhalqi Bastah".
22:38 Let us try the 69th verse
22:40 with the word "Sabah".
22:43 We will start with "Sabah".
22:45 I seek refuge with Allah from the accursed Satan.
22:48 "Do you wonder that a Reminder has come to you from your Lord
23:02 upon a man from among you,
23:07 to warn you?
23:12 And remember when He made you successors
23:25 after the people of Noah,
23:30 and increased you in creation in abundance.
23:38 So remember the Blessings of Allah,
23:51 that you may be successful."
24:02 "Do you wonder that a Reminder has come to you from your Lord
24:14 upon a man from among you,
24:17 to warn you?
24:19 And remember when He made you successors
24:23 after the people of Noah,
24:25 and increased you in creation in abundance.
24:27 So remember the Blessings of Allah,
24:31 that you may be successful."
24:33 In this verse,
24:35 and also emphasized by Al-Fadl Usas,
24:37 we have the word "Bastah".
24:39 And that is our word of choice for today.
24:42 Ladies and gentlemen, may Allah bless you.
24:44 The word "Bastah" in the verse "Wazadakum filkhalqi bastah"
24:49 is mentioned 61 times in the Quran.
24:53 The Surah that contains this word is
24:56 Surah Al-Anfal, the second verse.
25:00 And Surah Tawbah, the 124th verse.
25:02 And Surah Al-Furqan, the 60th verse.
25:06 These are the Surahs that contain the word "Bastah".
25:11 And how do we read it?
25:13 We read it with Sin.
25:16 So we read it as "Bas-tah".
25:19 Not "Bas-tah".
25:21 So that is the recitation of Al-Mufaddal Al-Halaqut,
25:27 which is emphasized in the Hafiz An-Arsi.
25:30 We return to the 69th verse,
25:34 may Allah bless you and grant you peace.
25:36 We can see in this verse,
25:38 there is a surprise for the people of 'Ad
25:41 when the Prophet Hud was sent.
25:44 And we can see how the Prophet Hud
25:47 reminded his people
25:50 about the blessings of Allah SWT
25:55 and how through this reminder,
25:58 through the manifestation of the blessings of Allah,
26:01 he was able to bring the people to success.
26:05 Ladies and gentlemen,
26:07 we will talk about this verse in a while.
26:09 We will take a short break.
26:11 Let's go to Quran Time, Quran Salat and Infaq.

27:47 I'll pick up on a point that the professor mentioned.
27:50 We realise that we can do that in our own homes.
27:54 That is one of the clues for me.
27:57 Please, give us some advice.
27:59 This is not a common problem that we face.
28:04 We should pay attention to our friends.
28:06 For example, when I was studying,
28:09 I had a friend who was a Muslim.
28:11 He was a Muslim.
28:13 But, he was able to stop during Ramadan.
28:15 This means that he was able to stop.
28:17 He did not even break the fast.
28:19 Some people break their fast during Ramadan.
28:21 But, he did not break the fast during Ramadan.
28:23 He was able to stop during Ramadan.
28:25 After Ramadan, he started to break the fast again.
28:27 I think this is similar to other things.
28:31 Some people like to watch movies or bad things.
28:34 But, during Ramadan, he was able to stop.
28:37 This shows that he was able to do those things.
28:41 But, at the same time, he needed a support system.

30:45 I am afraid that there will be more.
30:46 Even Ustaz Arif is laughing.
30:48 I am afraid that there will be more.

31:17 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:19 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:21 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:23 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:25 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:27 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:29 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:31 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:33 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:35 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:37 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:39 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:41 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:43 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:44 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:46 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:48 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:50 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:52 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:54 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:56 I am afraid that there will be more.
31:58 I am afraid that there will be more.

32:35 I am afraid that there will be more.
32:37 I am afraid that there will be more.
32:39 I am afraid that there will be more.
32:41 I am afraid that there will be more.
32:42 Okay, there is a verse on the screen.
32:44 I want to hear you ladies.
32:46 Before we listen to the words,
32:48 try to follow the recitation.
32:50 Try.
32:52 I convey to you the message of my Lord,
33:00 and I am to you a trustworthy advisor.
33:08 One, two, three.
33:10 I convey to you the message of my Lord,
33:17 and I am to you a trustworthy advisor.
33:25 MashaAllah, how was the recitation?
33:28 It was good.
33:30 SubhanAllah.
33:32 We will try to read it in a responsible way.
33:34 SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah,
33:36 we were able to keep the Tajweed.
33:39 We were able to keep the Tajweed.
33:40 We were able to keep the Tajweed.
33:42 Alhamdulillah.
33:44 We were able to keep the Tajweed.
33:46 Alhamdulillah.
33:48 We were able to keep the Tajweed.
33:50 Alhamdulillah.
33:52 We were able to keep the Tajweed.
33:54 Alhamdulillah.
33:56 We were able to keep the Tajweed.
33:58 Alhamdulillah.
34:00 We were able to keep the Tajweed.
34:02 Alhamdulillah.
34:04 We were able to keep the Tajweed.
34:06 Alhamdulillah.
34:08 The first thing we need to keep is the letter 'Gha' in the beginning.
34:12 Try to say 'Ubalighu'.
34:15 Ubalighu.
34:17 Balagha.
34:19 Ubalighu.
34:21 What about 'Ra'?
34:23 Ubaliru.
34:25 Try to say 'Ubaliru'.
34:27 That is 'Ra'.
34:29 Ubalighu.
34:31 Lighu.
34:33 Lighu.
34:35 Lighu.
34:37 Lighu.
34:38 That is the session.
34:40 One more.
34:42 Because the letter 'Gha' is the letter that comes out of our 'Rongga Krongkong'.
34:46 Where is 'Gha' located?
34:48 In the beginning of our 'Rongga Krongkong'.
34:50 The letter 'Gha' and the letter 'Kha'.
34:53 'Kha' and 'Gha'.
34:55 So, be careful. Don't switch it with 'Kha'.
34:57 Balighu.
34:59 That is what we want.
35:01 That is the first thing.
35:03 One more time.
35:06 Please.
35:07 Ubalighu.
35:09 Be careful when you are trying to pronounce it.
35:13 In 'Kum', 'Mi' meets 'Ra'.
35:15 You want to twist the song.
35:17 Sometimes, it is long.
35:19 Ubalighu.
35:21 Oh my!
35:24 If that is the case, you don't need to pronounce it.
35:28 It is wrong.
35:30 You need to make it clear.
35:32 'Mi' meets 'Ra'.
35:35 Ubalighu.
35:36 Just like that.
35:39 That is not a problem.
35:41 The second thing.
35:43 We want to see the word.
35:45 Please.
35:47 Don't switch it with 'Ka'.
35:55 There is 'Alif'.
35:57 'Nun Alif'.
35:59 That is right.
36:01 There is 'Alif'.
36:04 'Alif' does not have a round mark.
36:06 There is no 'Sukun'.
36:08 So, this one is not correct.
36:11 Because there is a mark on the top.
36:13 Try.
36:16 It is the same.
36:19 'Mi' meets 'Nun'.
36:22 What was the name?
36:24 What was the name of 'Nur'?
36:26 Not 'Nur'.
36:28 'Mi' meets 'Nun'.
36:30 'Izhar'.
36:33 Try.
36:34 Yes.
36:38 The third part.
36:40 Please.
36:46 We want to pay attention to this word.
36:53 It is between the letters 'Sa'.
36:55 Try.
36:57 'Nasik' is too much.
37:02 'Nasik' is too much.
37:03 It is too much.
37:05 'Sa' is too much.
37:07 'Nasik' is too much.
37:09 So, we have to be careful.
37:11 Try.
37:13 And also 'Ha'.
37:16 This one is 'Mi' meets 'Hamzah'.
37:23 What was the name?
37:25 'Izhar'.
37:27 Please, don't hold it.
37:29 Don't hold it.
37:30 Please.
37:35 We will try to memorize it.
37:41 If Allah wills it, we will get this one verse.
37:58 Try.
38:27 Please.
38:28 Continue.
38:49 Continue.
38:50 Praise be to Allah.
38:58 We have memorized one verse.
39:00 Verse 68.
39:02 Praise be to Allah.
39:04 You can write down the verse you memorized today.
39:07 And what is the title?
39:09 Verse 60 and 68.
39:11 Before you rest, please share in the comment section.
39:14 What is the name of the verse?
39:17 What is the title of the verse?
39:19 And what is the title of the verse?
39:21 Congratulations.
39:22 We will take a break.
39:24 We will be back after this.
