00:02 >> Today, show today, Shota Iminaga gets the start for Chicago.
00:07 He has made nine starts this year for the Cubs.
00:09 They are 8-1 individually.
00:12 Shota Iminaga is 5-0 with a 0.84 ERA and the Cubs a -136 road money line favorite.
00:20 Now earlier in the show, Mark Zinno said he's fading Iminaga because of the classic narrative.
00:26 They can't win them all when Shota gets the start.
00:28 Are you doing the same DRS?
00:30 >> I don't know if I am, but also when you take a look at Bryce Wilson on the mound
00:33 here, he does have an X-fit minus of a 112, which is okay, that's above average.
00:37 How's he doing for the season?
00:38 How about a 2.86 ERA, which is phenomenal.
00:41 But then again, you're going up against Iminaga who's got an 80 X-fit minus, which is incredible,
00:46 and a 0.84 ERA as Ben pointed out.
00:49 So if we're just looking at a pitch-up matchup alone, it is fairly good, which leads me to
00:53 probably another under.
00:54 But if I'm giving the nod, it's going to be to the Cubs due to how good Iminaga has
00:58 actually been.
00:59 If we're looking from a batting perspective, right, Iminaga, just look at the non-analytics
01:03 here.
01:04 Iso power number 055, 221, weighted on base percentage.
01:07 The only guys that are plus against left-handed pitching in the past 30 days for Milwaukee
01:11 are Adamus and Sanchez.
01:13 That's it.
01:14 The rest of the lineup, he should fairly get through easily.
01:15 Flip it over to the other side with Wilson, as we talked about, a little bit more leaky
01:19 against lefties than righties.
01:21 He's going to get, look, Tuchman, Bellinger, Happ, and Bush as lefties.
01:25 So you're going to have more righties in the lineup than lefties.
01:27 That's really where Wilson excels.
01:29 So instead of picking a side, which I do think the right side would be the Chicago Cubs,
01:33 again, probably just more confident in this game going under.
01:35 And if you're saying to yourself, I'm tired of getting burned late innings with multiple
01:39 runs and home runs scored, maybe the first five innings under here might be your play
01:42 for that one.
