00:00 The American people are smart.
00:05 They understand hypocrisy when they see it.
00:08 They understand cynicism when they see it.
00:13 Senator Schumer and President Biden think the American people are stupid.
00:19 They think they can pull the wool over their eyes and somehow, after three and a half years
00:25 of open border policies, claim that they are now the party of border security.
00:31 There is no state in the country that has suffered more under the Biden open border
00:37 policies than the state of Texas, with 1,200 miles of common border.
00:43 But here are just a few of the numbers.
00:44 We don't really know how many people have come across the border, but best estimates
00:49 are maybe 9 million, 10 million people.
00:52 Best estimate of the number of gotaways, people who evade law enforcement, roughly 1.8 million
00:57 people.
00:59 We know there are 101, 108,000 people who died of drug overdoses last year.
01:05 71,000 died from fentanyl.
01:08 And now the Democrats are claiming that they care about fentanyl poisoning after three
01:14 and a half years of doing nothing other than facilitating the distribution of this poison
01:19 to our kids all across the country.
01:23 And then there's the least talked about casualties of this policy, which are the 400,000 children
01:29 who've been placed with sponsors in the interior of the United States.
01:33 The New York Times has done an investigative piece documenting how many of these children
01:38 have been forced into labor.
01:40 You can only imagine how many of them have been sold into sex slavery, how many of them
01:45 have been abused, recruited into gangs.
01:47 And the Biden administration takes a position it's not their responsibility to follow up
01:52 on these children.
01:53 And they simply don't know where they are, what's happening to them, whether they're
01:57 going to school, whether they're getting the health care they need or not.
02:01 And they don't care.
02:03 They just don't care.
02:06 Let me just mention one last problem that is caused by the Biden open border policies.
02:13 I think it was last January there were some published reports of people connected with
02:19 ISIS, the successor terrorist organization to al-Qaida operating out of the Middle East,
02:26 facilitating the travel of migrants to the southern border.
02:31 Now we don't know and can't, perhaps can't talk about here publicly, the intelligence
02:37 reports that have been gathered that report on the number of these people connected with
02:44 the terrorist organization that have been released into the United States.
02:49 And frankly, I don't think it's a question anymore, will there be a terrorist attack
02:54 in the United States?
02:56 It's a question of when that terrorist attack occurs.
02:59 This is just another aspect of what has turned out to be a horrific policy by the Biden administration.
03:05 But now they want to claim that they're the party of border security after three and a
03:11 half years.
03:12 Give me a break.
