00:00The big question that maybe Villa fans might be looking at, obviously that they are nearing fourth position, but if they are to get fifth, in terms of the coefficient rules that Borussia Dortmund have made an impact on that, can you just put at rest maybe some Villa fans who are to creep into fifth? What's the situation in terms of Champions League places for next season?
00:23Basically, all of Villa's fellow English clubs have let them down. Villa kind of flying the flag for English football at the moment, the only team left in European competition. It's meant that they're not going to have enough points in the co-efficiency rankings to get fifth place in the Premier League, getting Champions League football.
00:38There's a lot of hope that there would be, with the new rules and the new format for next season, there would be an extra spot, but only the top two leagues in European football will get that, and it's decided now it'll be Italian football and German football.
00:52So, no fifth place in the Premier League will be getting it this year, which means Villa must, of course, finish in the top four. But that's how it's always been for Champions League, so it's not like it's a major change here. It just means there isn't that bonus spot this year.
01:04Just need to see out the final three games in as good style as possible, starting away at Brighton, we'll see how that one ends up. If they can get a win there, I think it's going to be very difficult for Tottenham Hotspur to catch up. Seven points behind at the moment with two games in hand.
01:19Failed to beat Arsenal, although they did try and get back and did quite well in that game. In the end, they didn't get any points and they've still got to play Liverpool and Manchester City and Chelsea as well, so they've got a very tough run in. We'll have to see what happens with that.
01:32You touch on there that they are the final English side remaining in the European competition. Now, remind 12 months you had West Ham in the Champions League final, you had Manchester City in the Champions League final.
01:46What would a final do for the city, do for the club, the surroundings and how much of a feel-good factor does a final in the European competition be? Maybe it's not quite the competition that Villa, by their standards of historically, want to be in, but still a European final would be unbelievable for them.
02:06It would be incredible, yeah. Just the hype around the city, at least on the claret and blue side of it. To get to Athens for the semi-final is big, let alone Athens again potentially for the final. Building much for the home leg as well. There's so much excitement around to play Olympiacos. Can they get to the final? Can they win the competition?
02:24It's the first time they've been in the final four of a European competition since 1982. 42 years in the waiting. Several, several years, really decades for so many Villa fans that have never seen this kind of feat for their clubs, especially the younger generations. Incredibly exciting time for them. Can they get the job done and win the trophy?
02:46It's got a lot of pressure on them to do it from the fan base, but I think that togetherness, Unai Emery with his structure, his consistency always goes on about. I've got full belief that they can go and do it and bring glory back to the city.
