00:00 We're down here outside of Wolverhampton train station where there's going to be industrial action taking place tomorrow
00:07 again with the rail action strikes. We're down here with Roger Chester, who's a semi-regular train user which Pratt & South has.
00:13 So yeah, we're just asking if it's going to affect you at all.
00:16 Well it is actually affecting me. Tomorrow I'm due to go to London.
00:20 Ordinarily, you might have caught the train there.
00:23 But because we can't rely on this, we've got to drive down today and stay overnight. There's two of us and a colleague at the place where we're going to now.
00:31 So it sounds wonderful, but it's not.
00:34 And it's expensive.
00:37 Well that's what I was going to say. It's a lot of money out of your pocket really.
00:39 Well we're going to Peckham.
00:41 Oh right, fair enough. Maybe a bit cheaper. Is it Peckham cheaper these days?
00:46 I doubt it very much. I'm not going to rely on it either.
00:49 But no, so it's definitely affecting you?
00:52 Yeah it is. What I would like to know is exactly how much people earn and how much is broken down between basic pay and overtime and then work out.
01:03 I think at the moment it's an oversight situation. So that's why people earn more money. Or alternatively, could you use the overtime money to employ more people?
01:13 Yeah, absolutely.
01:14 In a way that sounds like the NHS doesn't it?
01:16 Yeah, just a little bit. So, sort of a breakdown. Just four against...
01:22 I feel sorry for both sides because the country has no bottomless drinking pool. And whatever we give away is going to be paid for.
01:33 So if you think about it, we're just shuffling away the same pot.
01:37 Yeah.
01:38 Something to look out for.
