The sun finally came out for the annual Skegness Scooter Rally, with hundreds of scooters in town for a ride in, custom show, parts fair and live music.

00:21out already. Yes, we are, but the weather's here, we've got a thunder, yesterday was terrible,
00:26but we're all ready to go riding to Skegness. We're looking forward to it, we've got quite
00:32a few here, so hopefully it should go alright. It looks like there's some riders that didn't
00:38get the memo and have gone into Skegness already. Unfortunately, yes, they've just gone past
00:42here. It is different, isn't it, because normally you do have a ride out, don't you, on a Saturday?
00:49We do, we usually do a ride out about three o'clock, but this year we thought we'd do
00:53something different. We'll do a ride in, see how it goes. I like to try things, but hopefully it should be different.
01:00So what will the route be? Because people are heading into Skegness to do the shopping at the minute.
01:06Yeah, well we're going straight down to the bottom of the Welcome Pub, we're going to do a ride through the town and back up to the Suncastle.
01:14Right, okay, and then obviously you've got events on all weekend. Can you just tell people a little bit about what they can expect?
01:21Right, we've got the Parks Fair, we've got the Customs Show, and then tonight we've got the Entertainment.
01:26We've got two headlining bands, Angelo Star and The Beat. So we've got loads going on,
01:31we've got DJs, we've got the Norman Soul Room, Reggae Room, so yeah, it's a fantastic weekend.

01:39I am a DJ, yeah, I always look forward to coming to Skegness, it's a lovely place.
01:43I used to come when I was a kid in the 80s to the Skoo Racer, yeah, I love Skegness.

02:39It's the first time in 40 years we've been down to Skegness, but I've been down before, yeah.
