00:00So today we are working on the theme of best way to see your city.
00:03There are so many different pockets of Glasgow and for me, one of my favourite ways to see it
00:07is on public transport, looking out the window, because it's the details of each area and each
00:12neighbourhood that really give it its character. So today I've taken you on the City Sightseeing
00:16Bus, the first time I've ever been on it, which is 21 stops and takes you through the city centre,
00:22part of the East End and part of the West End. Let's start with an iced coffee at
00:26in the East End. For anyone visiting Glasgow or even if you're from here and just want to
00:31learn more about it, this is a great way to explore because it's hop-on and hop-off.
00:35It stops at a good number of attractions and it's a really regular service.
00:39Depending on the day and time of year, it runs between every 15 and 30 minutes.
00:43You just need to find a bus stop with the logo and wait for the next one to arrive.
00:47You can also track it online to see how far away it is.
00:50It starts at George Square, you can buy a ticket online or on the bus.
00:54It's open top, so if you're lucky enough to visit on a sunny day,
00:57it's an absolutely gorgeous place to be. However, Glasgow is notorious for its rainy weather,
01:02but fear not, there is shelter if that so is the case.
01:05You can get a wee set of earplugs as well,
01:07so you can listen to a live tour guide tell you all about the city.
01:10Some of the main sites the bus visits include the People's Palace, the Goma,
01:14Glasgow Central Station, the OVO Hydro, Riverside Museum,
01:19Glasgow University, Kelvin Grove, the Hunterian Museum and the Beddisford.
01:23The company behind the tour guides is soon launching a service that will also visit the south side.
01:29It will pass by Ibrox Stadium and Celtic Park.
02:53you
