00:00how do you find out about something like that? Like is it a sort of, is it a casual email or is it
00:06a lot of sort of PRs sort of chatting to each other and sort of marketing people coming together
00:12and things like that? So we first found out it was, oh it was years ago now because it was
00:21unfortunately when before Taylor passed away so we was actually booked on the first shows of it.
00:27Okay so it was, yeah so this is the second lot where they had to cancel and then they've done
00:34that so they asked us again. So the first time we'd had no booking agent, we didn't have,
00:41we had a very very very small label, like tiny label and I think that was about it.
00:49Never played anything that big at all and probably had about, I think we might have
00:56just had about five songs on Spotify, like really old EP and then maybe a single or two.
01:03We just got this email to, we had a different manager back then and just a really casual
01:10email from SGM who are promoters in Manchester just saying like, oh a loose article's free on
01:17this date, there's been a request from the Foo Fighters if they could support them and that's it.
01:24We thought we, we thought they were taking a piss, like anyone would from an email.
01:30What? I was just like, I was just at work in a group chat and then the group chat came up
01:36of this person who was our manager just saying like, oh my god this is the email that's been
01:42sent and we just thought it was a, we didn't believe it at the start. We were like, what?
01:47And we were just like, no, like what? And then you don't think about the scale, they didn't say what
01:53venue it was at or anything. We were like, how big is this gig? And yeah, it's 50,000 people.
01:59The gig was stupidly massive, but at the time, we was tiny. Like we weren't, the biggest shows
02:08we were playing might have been at like, say, yes what's a 250 capacity, capacity venue,
02:15but we were supporting bands there. We weren't even playing headlines that big then or anything.
02:20So even now it feels so massive. But yeah, and then unfortunately, Taylor passed away and we
02:26were just like that, you know, poor Dave, poor Foo Fighters and things like that because
02:32it's just hard, it was heartbreaking. Then we just got all about it and then had the email again
02:39be like, oh yeah, they still want you to play, by the way. And we're like, what? Because we just
02:44were like, oh that didn't happen, that's fine. But then we were just like, oh my god, they're still,
02:49they were like, you know, Foo Fighters are like men of the word.
02:52The Bucky to play a show, you're definitely going to be playing that show.
