9 months after the leak was first reported in Tavistock Close, residents say it's like having a river outside their homes.

00:00Frustrated residents claim an ongoing water leak has only worsened despite engineers' attempts to fix it.
00:05Those living in Tavistock Close, near Walder Slade Woods, said that they first reported the issue and it was only a trickle.
00:11But nine months later, they say it's like having a river outside their homes.
00:14Iris Moore and her neighbour Anne contacted South East Water in September
00:18after they noticed the water had been seeping from a crack in the road for a few weeks.
00:22The pair then reported it again in January, as it had frozen and became a sheet of ice which Iris slipped on.
00:27This was tarmac'd over. However, the leak has continued to grow and that gallons of water are now running into the nearby drain every day.
00:57South East Water's regional network manager, Andy Beston, said the firm is making attempts to fix the burst water pipe and is now waiting for permission to recommence works.
