00:00Hi there, welcome to Kelvin Grove Cafe. This is our house whisky sour that I'm going to make with Glengoyne 10-year-olds.
00:08It's good, there's a lot of new bars coming out, you've got places like Absinthe here.
00:12So we use 50 mils Glengoyne 10.
00:16The gate there are great, there's a few little spots on the south side as well.
00:19Obviously you've got down here a shot and a half lemon juice.
00:27Finisterne is great for a cocktail as well, so here there's a lot of nice little spots going on.
00:3325 mils honey syrup.
00:38And some fresh egg white.
00:56We serve all our cocktails over big rocks glasses, big boxes of ice.
01:20It just helps with dilution, little cubes, dilute a little bit quicker.
01:24It just helps with the flavour of the drink.
01:42I wouldn't work anywhere else to be honest.
01:44It's one of my favourite bars in the city, definitely for a cocktail or a pint of Guinness.
01:48But yeah, it's a great place to work and obviously we're in Finisterne as well, so there's always lots going on.
01:54It's a tough one.
01:55I mean I do like whisky drinks, but probably something a bit stronger like a Boulevarde.
01:59So it's a kind of twist on a Negroni.
02:01We do quite a lot of Negronis here, but mine's with usually rye or bourbon.
