Winston Duke was delighted to get to work with Ryan Gosling in The Fall Guy because he has admired him for decades, even as a kid he tells Yahoo UK because he grew up watching his co-stars Fox Kids series Young Hercules.

00:04How did you find working with him and building up that camaraderie as you went on?
00:08That's a good one. So, I've had this bromance with Ryan even before we met, right?
00:13So, I grew up watching a lot of his movies, watching, like, you know, him as young Hercules
00:20back in the day on this TV show. I was a big fan of that. I watched that every afternoon after school.
00:25So, I remember kind of growing up with him and watching him and his career evolved.
00:30The Notebook, Beyond the Pines, all these, like, incredible movies.
00:34So, I came in really, really respectful and, like, the first thing I did was, like,
00:40we're talking and we're, like, talking about characters and I looked in his eyes and I was, like,
00:42you're so good looking, man. And he's, like, get out of here. Shut up. Get out of here.
00:47Why? Oh, man. You're crazy. And then we just, like, the kismet was just like that from day one.
00:54That was, like, 30 minutes in. And then everything else kind of just snowballed from there.
00:59We were, like, because there was a lot of improv, there needed to be a lot of trust.
01:04And he knew immediately that he found, like, a friend. I was there to support him.
01:10And I would say that, too. I would, like, be, like, how was that for you?
01:14I'm here to support you. So, whatever you need, are you good? You're getting everything that you need from me?
01:19And I would check in with him often because I looked at him as a bit of an upperclassman on set.
01:25And he was also producing. So, it was, like, this is his baby. Right?
01:29So, it was really getting, it was an honor to be able to be in proximity to watch how he carries himself as a leading man
01:35because I also wanted that for myself in the future. So, it was really great.
