00:11 So I'm just really, really excited to be a part of it here.
00:14 And a lot of emotions right now, hard to put into words,
00:17 but I'm excited to contribute in any way I can

00:20 - Had you had many conversations leading up to the draft
00:22 with CJ Stroup?
00:24 - Yeah, I mean, not so much about joining the Texans.
00:27 I knew we've always had a good relationship.
00:29 All the way through college,
00:31 we were captains together at Ohio State.
00:32 So we shared a lot of time there together.
00:37 And then before pro day, he came up
00:39 and we threw that night before pro day.
00:40 And we've, I mean, we've stayed in touch,
00:42 I feel like pretty well.
00:43 He's just an awesome human and even a better teammate.
00:46 - What did you make of what he was able to do
00:47 in his rookie season?
00:48 - To be honest with you, it was no surprise to me
00:49 or anybody in that Ohio State facility.
00:53 It's just, we knew that dude was special.
00:55 And when he got the chance, got put with the right people
00:57 and the right coaching staff, the dude's unbelievable.
01:00 - The Houston Texans are getting an athlete
01:02 who's willing to play anywhere
01:04 and everywhere they need them, correct?
01:07 - 100%, yeah, that's 100%, 100% correct.
01:10 No doubt about it.
01:11 I'll do whatever we gotta do here to win ball games.
01:12 And I mean, they got awesome players,
01:14 awesome coaching staff.
01:15 So just super, super blessed here.
