00:00I'm Melissa Rowland with Sports Illustrated, and we're here with Jill Painter-Lopez.
00:07Now, Jill, in a recent interview, James Worthy was asked to compare different generations
00:12of players, and he had some choice words.
00:14What did he say?
00:15Well, Melissa, I always love the debates, Michael Jordan versus LeBron James, and when
00:20you get players who played in different eras, 70s, 80s, 90s, to compare now, it's always
00:26very interesting, as everybody thinks their era was the best.
00:29Now, what James Worthy said in this interview with En Fuego was, he said, you know, I heard
00:33Draymond Green say he was one of the toughest power forwards, and he's like, he wouldn't
00:37last 20 minutes with Dennis Rodman, so he said, or the Anthony Masons, or the Charles
00:44Oakleys.
00:45So he said, you know, why don't you go and enjoy your era and don't leak back?
00:50So he also said he's keeping it real, and James Worthy always does that.
00:55But, you know, you covered Draymond Green.
00:57Melissa, what are your thoughts on Draymond Green saying he's one of the toughest power
01:00forwards to play in the game?
01:01I think he's right.
01:03He came into the league completely undervalued, underrated, and he really made a name for
01:07himself.
01:08He turned himself into an all-star, focusing on defense.
01:10He was a huge, huge piece of all of the Warriors' championship team.
01:14So I actually think Draymond Green earned the right to call himself all of those things.
01:19It's interesting because, obviously, Draymond Green and Charles Barkley have had a longstanding
01:23feud, and now James Worthy looks like he's fanning the flames a little bit.
01:27He sure is.
