00:00The LA Clippers season ended in quite possibly the most Clippers way possible.
00:06After choking a 3-1 lead for the second time in five years under the same head coach, the
00:13Clippers have been eliminated by the Denver Nuggets.
00:15It was quite honestly the worst game seven you could have possibly played if you were
00:20the Clippers.
00:21They were up seven points in the third quarter and somehow managed to be down 20 in the fourth.
00:27Kawhi Leonard was 1-for-11 in the second half, Paul George was hitting the side of the backboard.
00:32The Clippers as a team couldn't score a single field goal in the final seven minutes of the
00:37game.
00:38They missed wide open layups, they missed wide open dunks, and what's crazy is that
00:42the Nuggets didn't really score anything in the final seven minutes, or sorry let me rephrase
00:47it, in the first seven minutes of the fourth quarter.
00:50The Nuggets let the Clippers hang around in there.
00:53It was a 10 point game and somehow the Clippers just couldn't make a single shot.
00:58It was like bit by bit the life of every Clipper fan was getting squeezed out with every single
01:04missed wide open shot.
01:07Now it's obviously a beyond disappointing season for the Clippers, arguably a top two
01:12biggest collapse in NBA history.
01:15The only thing could possibly be worse is the 3-1 lead by the Golden State Warriors.
01:20So now at this point, the only thing Clipper fans can do and the only thing the Clippers
01:24can do is take a moment to breathe, and now we're all going to see what plays out in the
01:28bubble.
01:29We've seen some crazy things already.
01:31We saw the Bucs get eliminated in five games.
01:33So we don't really know what's going to happen.
01:36For all we know, the Miami Heat are going to win the NBA championship.
01:39But for now, the 2020 LA Clippers will always be known as one of the biggest what-ifs and
01:46one of the most underperforming teams in NBA history.
01:50The coaches, the players, they made excuses like fatigue.
01:54They made excuses like continuity, made excuses like chemistry.
01:58But at the end of the day, none of that matters.
02:00When you're up 19 points in the third quarter in game six in a closeout situation, none
02:06of that matters.
02:08It's just a joke.
