00:15 And for those of us doing the full, we're at the halfway point and everything's a countdown

00:21 I'm so excited to see all the crowds around Town Hall.
00:24 It's just going to be an awesome atmosphere and a fantastic finish.
00:35 Okay we've made it up to the top of Sturt Street and now we get to run into the beautiful
00:40 Vic Park.
00:41 I'm so looking forward to running down the Avenue of Cedars.
00:44 For everyone running the race, it's just going to be time to settle in and get into the rhythm
00:48 and soak up this beautiful park.
00:59 Running through the Arch is going to be just awesome.
01:01 It's such a landmark inside Ballarat and for all of us, whatever race we're doing, it's
01:06 a landmark to be crossing.
01:08 You know you've got a big, long, straight stretch ahead of you up towards the golf club
01:12 and all the way back to City Oval.
01:14 So this is a real milestone inside the race.
01:24 We're running around the lake, everyone's favourite place to go for a run in Ballarat
01:28 on the iconic Steve Monteghetti track.
01:31 What's special about this run around the lake though is that we'll be on the road with thousands
01:35 of other runners soaking up our fantastic lake.
01:39 And for those of us doing it twice, it's twice as much fun.
01:46 Okay we're running down Sturt Street and it's time to enjoy that long, slow downhill.
01:52 We're running past Ballarat Base Hospital, which is delighted to be partnering with the
01:57 Ballarat Health Services Foundation to be the headline charity partner.
02:00 For everyone who's fundraised for the foundation during this event, we thank you very much.
02:11 Camp Street is my favourite part of the course.
02:13 It's got some really nice sweeping bends.
02:16 You know when you get to the bottom of camp, you're really so close to the end.
02:22 And you've got a big sweeping turn at the bottom, then you head up that steep hill back
02:26 to the finish line.
