00:56Hank song. I'll never forget a woman came around and she kind of looked at me and I thought I'd
01:01done something wrong. She goes, oh, I just came around to see who was singing. And she goes,
01:05do you sing? And I'm 15. And I went, no, I just love to sing. I love country. She goes,
01:11you should go down to Broad Street. That's where all the singers are. Yeah. And I went, okay. And
01:18that's when I started hanging out on Broad trying to get a gig at these honky tonks because I had
01:23this dream in my head that I was or delusion that I was going to be a country music star.
01:31A hotspot Dwayne and Chris both frequented when they were teenagers is the famous Tootsies.
01:36For me to be able to go to say Tootsies on stage with this guy or the Mecca Grand Ole Opry
01:43is full circle.
01:44Full circle for me is I haven't been back into Tootsies since I started there.
01:48My first year in town, that will be the first time I will be back in there as well.
01:52So we'll do it together. It'll be the first time together that we've been
01:55back in there since we were there.
01:57And the Rock's got another famous country friend, Jelly Roll, who he discovered at a low point.
02:022017, I was going through a rough time. A lot of pressure as life brings all of us.
02:07Song popped up on my playlist, Out of the Blue. But then again, as we know with moments like that,
02:12it's never out of the blue. That's God. It's the universe. And it's a song called Only.
02:17The darkness inside of me is finally taking my soul.
02:22Me and rock me to the core when I heard that song.
02:24I just started to follow him and didn't reach out to him or anything like that.
02:28And then we just started to come together and become great friends.
02:31And I appreciate his music and I appreciate him as a human being and
02:34being a Nashville guy too as well. And yeah, that was a special song.
