00:00We officially hand over 4 units of e-scooter micro-mobility vehicles for the use of rescue teams at KLIA 1 and KLIA 2.
00:21So, 2 units will be placed here, while 2 more units will be placed at KLIA 2, which is located between Tumpuan area in Selangor and Malaysia.
00:34With an average of about 250,000 people working in these 2 localities every day.
00:41And a total of 60 million visitors have been recorded in a year.
00:46This means that in a year, there are 60 million people in and out of these 2 localities.
00:52With an average of about 250,000 people working in these 2 localities every day.
00:56And a total of 251 aircrafts land and operate in these 2 localities.
01:03As far as I know, recently there was a rather shocking incident.
01:09However, in fact, the purchase of e-scooter micro-mobility vehicles has been planned in advance.
01:14This means that we have started planning before Ramadan.
01:18And Alhamdulillah, today the MBI has completed it.
01:22And I think it's just right on time, or high time, for us to increase control and safety and public trust in terms of the level of safety here.
01:35So, with this e-mobility or e-scooter, we can speed up control, increase the scope of the area of achievement over time.
01:44In addition to taking the necessary preventive measures when certain reports occur.
01:52So, the cost is not that big.
01:54Around Rp 55,000 has been spent by the MBI.
01:59This is not the first time, actually.
02:01Previously, we have spent almost 2 million PKP, for example, to help the use of e-scooters at that time.
02:08And it helped a lot of the security forces or the central bridges in the control of Ops Benting at that time.
02:15And Alhamdulillah, I am also concerned to continue the help.
02:22Because it will help control our borders and at the same time ensure the safety and military in Selangor can be guaranteed.
02:32With the investigation carried out by the police.
02:35Okay.
02:36Do you have any further request?
02:38It depends on the request.
02:41If there is a further request, we will consider it.
02:44We will start with 4 units, 2 here and 2 in KLIA first.
02:49If there are other needs, based on the request from time to time, we will try to implement it.
02:54InsyaAllah, we can complete it.
02:56As long as there are additional 4 or 5 units for use here.
03:02As of today.
03:04Can you explain a little about the specifications of the e-scooter?
03:09How fast they can go? How long can they run under charge?
03:13I'm not sure about the details.
03:15But this is usually used in airports and public places.
03:20When I travel abroad and also some large exhibitions.
03:26The ability to operate within 24 hours after a charge or 12 hours.
03:33I think that's one of the characteristics that we set.
03:37And the handling and speed.
03:40Of course, it will be faster than humans.
03:43Maybe within 20 to 30 kilometers per hour, it can reach that level.
03:48If you look at the normal condition, it may be more than this.
03:52It can go up to 35 kilometers per hour.
03:55So with that, it will be faster to handle or make controls.
04:02When there is an incident that requires control from the authorities.
04:07Does it require any special training in order to operate this e-scooter?
04:11You have to be balanced.
04:14And make sure that you can balance.
04:16It's just like you surf or use a skateboard and so on.
04:21I've seen it before.
04:22But of course, the police will try to improve the use of it.
04:28It's not new.
04:29Because for the past 2-3 years when I visited other airports.
04:33We can see that the users of this micro mobility or e-mobility.
04:37To help them to monitor and operate.
04:42In each locality and each location they want to monitor.
04:46So RM55,000 is for 4 people?
04:48It's for 4 people.
04:50RM55,000 is for 4 people.
