00:00Look, it's been hard to find really good news in the last few weeks, really in anywhere
00:11in America, but certainly within the college football realm, as we continue to see probably
00:15growing pessimism about whether there will be a fall season.
00:18But a little bit of good news did appear in my mailbox over the weekend, and that is this
00:24right here, the Phil Steele 2020 college football yearbook.
00:30I've been getting Phil Steele's magazine every year since 2003, I believe, and I can't get
00:36ready for a season without it.
00:38So the fact that Phil Steele put it together, even though the season's in doubt, was nice,
00:43and to have it arrive, and just to be able to look at it, and for a few minutes, forget
00:48about whether or not there's a pandemic, forget about whether we're going to have a season,
00:53and virus numbers, and testing, and all those things, and just actually think about football
00:58was pretty nice.
00:59I've spent less time here in the latter stage of July thinking about actual football, football
01:05teams, football players, football schedules, and football games than I ever have.
01:10So it was a nice respite to get around to thinking about the actual game, and looking
01:15at some numbers, and thinking about games that hopefully will be played.
01:18So thank you, Phil Steele, for still putting out your magazine.
01:22Thanks for the distraction, and I hope we have a season to go along with it.
