Glasgow Cocktail Week: The Gate

We head down to Glasgow’s East End to visit The Gate, a premium pub, to see what they have on offer this cocktail week.

00:00 Hi there, welcome to the gate. I'm Mark, I'm the General Manager here and I'm just going to be

00:04 talking you through one of our Glasgow Cocktail Week cocktails. This one is called the Wonder Wove.

00:08 Okay, we start off with some wonderful woven whiskey here and we're going 40 mils in.

00:15 Lovely.

00:17 Next a touch of delicious strawberry liqueur.

00:22 Perfect.

00:28 Perfect.

00:29 Add that to a little touch of lime juice here just to tart it up.

00:37 And then some nice white chocolate syrup.

00:44 A touch of egg white and a little star of the show, some coriander bitters. Okay.

00:56 Just give that a wee dry shake first off, get it all nice and fluffy.

01:04 And a wee wet shake.

01:22 Beautiful. Sweet.

01:37 Now just restrain that back into a lovely chilled glass.

01:47 And just a wee spray of coriander on the top.
