00:17It really deserves to go viral because it proved that there's something we can do to help.

00:41Do you think it's possible to remove it from the Taguig-Pateros River in just 10 days?

00:46This river used to be a vibrant fishing ground, and now it is completely covered in rubbish.

00:52Man, this is so brutal.

00:54Woah, it's got a really bad stink.

00:57This is all thanks to the viral post of the Australian national, Mike Smith.

01:03But of course, he's not alone.

01:06Mike will collaborate with several Filipino volunteers and several government agencies.

01:12Our government is doing something on this problem.

01:14It's a collaborative effort because they helped us.

01:18When I got here, it was completely covered in rubbish.

01:21And now it's basically clean.

01:23And that's just a sample of the cleanliness of Mike Smith's Australian-based company in the country.

01:29Some estuaries in Manila are also on the list,

01:32including Tanzamarine Tree Park and other parts of Navotas.

01:36Our goal for the next 12 months is to clean up all areas or problematic areas

01:42where there's a lot of rubbish.

01:44Our series of videos will testify that we never discredit the LGUs.

01:56See? It's not impossible.

01:59But the mission is not yet complete.

02:01Because of the maintenance of the Taguig-Pateros River,

02:04Taguig City Hall and the Municipality of Pateros will continue.

02:07Other government agencies are also involved.
