00:00 It's a village of Upper Stowe which is part of Stowe Nine Churches. It's just off the A5
00:08 in between Toaster and Wean. My husband and I started it in 1986 on July the
00:19 1st so it's coming up to our 38th year. We thought we were in paradise, I mean it
00:26 seems so big I couldn't think we'd ever ever finish. Now you can see what it's
00:31 like, can't get them all in really. And these buildings, they're all genuine
00:36 Victorian which is nice, it's different. And it's been lovely, I've made lovely
00:43 friends, I've had lovely people in the units, lovely staff, you know over the years. So yeah I've enjoyed it.
00:51 Rachel and Dan are very very good, the food is lovely. People always ask me am I
00:58 Mrs Brodie's daughter? I'm like no no no. We've been here five years, we had the
01:05 other restaurant in Northampton, we were there 15 years, it was just me and my
01:10 husband. And then we bought this restaurant just before Covid, May 2019.
01:18 So it's a proper little family, running place, we know what we're doing and like
01:23 it's all everything, we make everything, all the cakes. We do ham and chips and
01:28 then afternoon teas, that's obviously what we brought from the
01:32 dining room, obviously that's what I like doing. Come and try us, you can
01:37 just come for a bit of cake or panini, up to afternoon tea or breakfast, we're here.
