00:04 What are your views on that? Do you think smoking should be banned?

00:09 Yes and no. It's always been controversial because well ever since

00:17 like the 60s we've known that it's directly linked to cancer, lung cancer

00:23 and all sorts of different forms of cancer. But then we've got a resurgence now of

00:28 younger smokers with vaping. Is that what they're going to be banning?

00:33 They're looking at bringing in sanctions for vaping as well so it's for actual cigarettes.

00:37 Oh actual cigarettes? Then yes why not because they do nothing but harm really

00:46 and medically they are just the worst things that anyone could do to themselves.

00:51 But then again I am a vaper so it's not...

00:54 So Rishi Sunak has a bill going through Parliament today. He's looking at banning

01:02 I don't like smoking. I don't agree with it but I don't think it should be banned.

01:08 I think you should have the freedom of choice and I think it's just more administration,

01:13 more officialdom that has to be put through it. The form of the police and shopkeepers to

01:18 uphold it and I think it's just creating more work than necessary.

01:32 I personally think it's a bit overdue. I mean we have restrictions on alcohol,

01:38 it's not an outright ban but we know it's dangerous. People keep getting into the habit

01:45 of smoking. I personally think it doesn't really do anyone good for it to continue on

01:52 unbanned as it were. It's going to be a bit of a long journey to get there but I personally

01:59 am fine with it. I think it's a good idea in the long term and it's something inevitable.
