Leeds Rhinos forward Leon Ruan discusses his loan move to Doncaster and hopes for the 2024 season.
Transcript
00:00 Leon Rouhan, how are you enjoying your loan at Doncaster?
00:05 Yeah, it's going good so far, fitting really well. It's been easy to go back, obviously knowing everyone in the coaches and most of the players there still.
00:13 I've enjoyed the one game so far and I'm hoping the next few go well.
00:17 It's a good opportunity to get some first team rugby out at a high standard, isn't it?
00:22 Yeah, definitely. There's tough games coming up, Wakey and Feather the next two games, so they're a high quality position so it should be good for me.
00:29 You've played three games for Rhinos this season in the Super League, how do you feel that went?
00:34 Yeah, I think it all went positive. I think all the games so far haven't been the most game time, but I don't think I've done anything wrong in them really.
00:41 I think it's only put me in a good position going forward.
00:44 Are you hoping to push on and get some more first team game time at Leeds later in the year?
00:48 Yeah, definitely. I'm hoping after this loan, obviously I hope to come back and get straight back in the team, but obviously I'll just have to see how it goes.
00:56 I'm hoping I'll definitely play later on in the season.
