00:00 Hi, I'm Paul from the Luton Food Bank. This is an urgent appeal to everybody in Luton
00:12 just to say that the Luton Food Bank is running out of food. Without the aid of the community
00:19 and other people, we will be running out of food by the end of this month. Now if you
00:26 look over here, we'll see pasta. We have never ever got this low through the years that we've
00:33 been here. This is all I have. This is about a week's worth of pasta that will last us.
00:40 We have no vegetables, tinned vegetables. We have no hardly any baked beans, no meat.
00:50 Also we are running low on biscuits, cereal. Basically everything that is non-perishable
00:58 we will take. We're doing between 400 to 500 parcels a week. That's roughly about 6,000 items
01:08 that go out every single week and roughly what comes in between one and a half to 2,000 items
01:15 that come in. So you can see that the comparison doesn't fit. So this is an urgent appeal
01:22 from the Luton Food Bank and from me that if there's anybody that out there can help us
01:28 with donations or food drives or anything, please get in touch. Thank you very much indeed.
