00:04 Recently, some electric minibuses
00:06 have appeared on the roads of Addis Ababa,
00:09 the capital of Ethiopia, as a means of public transport.
00:13 And this is one of the latest moves of the Ethiopian
00:16 government to cut the carbon dioxide emission,
00:20 like what many countries do in the rest of the world.
00:23 As we all know, electric vehicle is the future trend.
00:27 And I heard these electric minibuses
00:30 are imported from China, not in the form of a whole vehicle,
00:34 but by different small parts.
00:37 And then they are assembled here in this factory
00:39 for two reasons.
00:41 The first reason is that the price
00:43 is more reasonable if they are assembled here in Addis Ababa.
00:47 And the second reason is that this
00:49 can help boost local employment, according to this company.
