A stretch of the M25 faces five full closures, causing disruption for motorists on London's orbital, including travellers using Gatwick and Heathrow airports.

The five miles between junction 11 at Chertsey and junction 12 with the A3 will first be closed from 9pm on Friday March 15 until 6am on Monday March 18.

00:46 The work is part of a £317m improvement project and National Highway said that action is necessary
00:54 to enable a bridge to be demolished and a new gantry to be installed. The project will
00:59 increase the number of lanes and make it easier to enter and exit the M25 at junction 10.

01:10 10 and 11 will be closed in both directions from 9pm on Friday March 15th to 6am on Monday
01:16 March 18th.
