00:19 It's been a long time coming to think that like I filmed this, gosh, over a year and a half ago

00:25 and yeah, I was in a very different place in my life but I'm very excited for it to finally come out

00:31 and for everyone to watch me fight a dragon.

00:34 I'm going to go get my cosies on and then we're going to go do some glam.

00:39 Buster always gives her a nice facial and I felt jealous so she's getting a head massage today.

00:49 Got to relax her after a stressful day, you know.

00:52 And I'm wearing a lot of extensions tonight.

00:54 Yeah, so I'm being kind because it's going to be a little bit torturous.

00:59 We are going really long and dramatic, just a nice kind of soft, fresh wave.

01:26 There's one little detail that really ties into the dress but that's like the finishing touch that you'll see.

01:31 It means a lot to me that we're able to pay homage to the film, you know, through my costume.

01:37 So the dress symbolises dragon scales which is kind of what I was wanting to go for

01:45 and I feel like the whole film she's a victim and to be able to tie it up to my premiere and be the dragon is pretty cool.

01:52 Since we're getting along, we're getting to the next stage in our relationship.

03:19 Tonight I am wearing a custom Louis Vuitton look.

03:26 Ryan and I collaborated together on bringing this idea to Louis Vuitton

03:31 and Nicola delivered a beautiful dress. His sketches were amazing.

03:35 As you can see, the dragon scales are moving kind of in a bias pattern on here.

03:40 In effect, the design is pretty simple.

03:43 The real magic of the dress is the pattern and the fabric.

03:46 It's all about the altering and even when we were doing that,

03:49 Ryan was like, "I want it to barely touch and kiss the ground."

03:52 All those details actually matter, especially when you're on a carpet.

03:55 My best friend is five minutes away.

04:02 I'm so excited.

04:04 She is the most spectacular, wonderful human being.

04:09 I just love her. She makes me laugh so hard.

04:13 And I think sometimes in the seriousness of it all, she grounds me.

04:18 Oh my gosh. Okay. Do you guys want to sneak peek at something?

04:21 On the first day of filming Damsel, I had to be covered in green slime.

04:28 And this was my reaction to it.

04:34 Just sadness. Pure sadness.

04:39 I only get into the zone the second they say action.

04:42 Just like, "I'm that kind of gal."

04:45 I usually take the time in Hair and Makeup to just be myself.

04:50 I think so much of my career has been me playing other characters.

04:54 And especially growing up in such a formative time.

04:58 Many months of the year, I was playing other people.

05:01 And it's been hard for me to find myself.

05:03 I think being in Hair and Makeup, I want to try and be the most myself.

05:06 And give myself that grace to have fun and to enjoy it.

05:10 And then the second they say action, I can turn it on.

05:13 Gia's here?

05:19 Gia!

05:22 [laughter]

05:26 We actually became friends because Gia's younger sister, Olivia,

05:31 was a huge fan of Stranger Things.

05:33 And really resonated with Eleven because Eleven had a shaved head.

05:36 And at the time, Olivia was going through chemotherapy for leukemia.

05:41 And, um...

05:45 Oh, God.

05:48 And Olivia passed away.

05:51 And I became best friends with Gia through Olivia.

05:56 So I think that was meant for a reason.

05:59 Stranger Things specifically brought me really meaningful experiences.

06:04 I had actually many experiences with cancer patients specifically

06:09 because of my shaving of my head.

06:12 It meant a lot to people.

06:14 And it was really humbling and grounding to get that at 12 years old.

06:18 To meet people like that.

06:20 Especially in the height of my success, you know, when Stranger Things came out.

06:23 I was doing so many exciting things, but then I got those moments of...

06:28 real life and meeting people that were truly going through hardships.

06:33 And I think that really, you know, helped me.

06:36 The food is here, which means I get to find out what pasta Jake ordered me.

06:42 Some type of cylinder.
