00:00 Welcome to Burton Borough and welcome to our Key Stage 3 Takeover Day.
00:14 I've liked being this week for the day because it's gave me a lot of independence and showed
00:22 me how to be a good role model and helped me try and get a job.
00:26 The teachers have done amazing homework, they've used so many great language, they've done
00:30 all this and phrased it properly.
00:31 It's also kind of cool because you get to see what happens back in the shadows.
00:37 You don't really know what teachers go through in a day until you actually do this.
00:43 I'm very excited, this is my first Takeover Day, I think it's really cool to be in the
00:48 life of a teacher for a day, I think that's a really cool experience to have.
00:53 So Belle, tell us what you've been up to today.
00:56 For the first period I was teaching a bit with the starter activity and I was just telling
01:03 them what to do.
01:04 Then they filled out the starter activity and I had to mark it and choose three to get
01:10 three house points each.
01:12 It gives me like sort of an idea of what I would be doing as a teacher if I wanted to
01:18 be a teacher.
01:19 I'm being a science teacher, it's Key Stage 3 Takeover Day.
01:26 I'm not really that used to it so it can be a bit nerve wracking and I can feel a bit
01:30 nervous.
01:31 I clean out the bearded dragons, feed them, helping out Alfie.
01:38 All the important jobs then?
01:40 Yeah.
01:41 Good man, I hope it all goes well.
