00:08 and what were your first impressions?
00:10 I met Walker at the first Chemistry Read.

00:20 It was like a conga line of Grovers just like marching in.
00:24 Well, you told us the first time I met you

00:27 That is the best way to introduce yourself to someone.
00:30 - I, Walker, I fell off a cliff.
00:31 - Banged my head up, got a concussion about six times.
00:33 - Also, my name is Ari.
00:34 - Yeah, no, yeah, no.
00:36 If you could play one other character in the series,
00:38 who would it be?
00:39 - I'd say Aries.
00:40 As an actor, I've always wanted to play a role like that.
00:43 - You're basically the same person.
00:44 - Yeah, I mean, I'm also six foot and jacked out of my mind,
00:48 much like Adam Copeland.
00:49 - If I can play any character in the whole series,
00:52 I'd say Nico.
00:53 I really like Nico, but I like Percy.
00:55 I hope they cast a really cool kid for Nico.
00:57 - What was the moment in the series
00:58 you were most excited to film and how'd it go?
01:00 - I think the ton of love.
01:01 It was really fun because I love swimming and everything,
01:04 so the set around you was like a big vibe.
01:07 - I was playing with the jets and I was underwater,
01:09 so I couldn't hear them call action,
01:11 and they yelled, "Action," and the jet went full blast,
01:13 and I flew through the shot and I hit the wall.
01:16 - He actually swam and was falling
01:18 in the back of my shot, actually.
01:20 - Where were you when you found out you got cast?
01:22 - I was actually at school.
01:24 I see it's like a bunch of people on the phone call.
01:26 And I'm like, "Hello?"
01:28 And they're like, "Okay, we have to tell you something."
01:30 They scared me, I thought I was in trouble.
01:31 And they screamed so loud.
01:33 They were like, "You got the part for Percy Jackson!"
01:36 And I went in the most craziest shock ever.
01:39 - I was hanging out with a very close friend of mine,
01:42 and my mom kicks open the door,
01:44 and she's like, "Everyone shut up, I have news!"
01:46 And she was holding her phone up,
01:47 and my manager was on the other end.
01:50 And he's like, "All right, you booked the job of Grover."
01:52 And for the next 45 minutes,
01:54 I kind of forgot my friend was still there.
01:57 And it was a lot of running around and screaming and crying.
02:00 - I was in my room.
02:01 I had to do a Zoom call just with the producers.
02:04 I got my Camp Athlete t-shirt on that I got in third grade.
02:07 I got on the call, and then Rick joined.
02:08 I was really confused.
02:09 I wondered why Rick was there,
02:10 'cause we were just talking.
02:11 And then him and Becky held up the book,
02:14 and then they told me I got it.
02:15 It didn't really hit you until a couple days later,
02:19 in the middle of the night.
02:20 I'm like, "Oh my God, I'm Percy Jackson."
02:23 - If you were a demigod, which Olympian
02:24 would you want to be your godly parent?
02:26 - I'd say Poseidon, still.
02:27 - Yeah, I'd want to be Athena.
02:29 - I would say Hades, 'cause I feel like his abilities
02:31 are just taxing on him.
02:33 But there's so much room for improvement.
02:34 - If you could take anything home from set,
02:37 what would you take?
02:38 - This is an easy one. - We've already taken
02:40 a lot of stuff from set. - We've taken a lot from set.
02:41 - Yeah.
02:42 - I would wanna take Medusa's head.
02:45 - I wanna see if I can get the myth and magic stuff.
02:48 'Cause they did hand-drawn books,
02:50 and they wrote custom cards.
02:52 So I'm gonna sell 'em like 10 years down the line
02:54 when they're worth millions.
02:55 - That's a great idea. - Yeah.
02:56 - I decided that if I couldn't get the Riptide,
02:59 I'm just gonna ask for a moment alone with it.
03:02 - I wanna take Lin-Manuel Miranda.
03:03 - Which actor would you want to play you
03:06 in a movie of your life?
03:08 - Adam Copeland.
03:09 - Oh, that's such a good answer.
03:11 I'd say Kumail Nanjiani.
03:13 Oh, he's awesome.
03:14 - Zendaya, so I can look really good.
03:17 - Zendaya for me also, man.
03:19 - I'd say Zendaya.
03:20 If you had to choose one monster to fight in real life,
03:23 which one would it be?
03:24 Cronos.
03:25 - Solo Cronos. - The Lord of the Titans?
03:26 - I can take down Cronos easily.
03:28 - Yeah, just one little tap, he's gone.
03:29 - What does he have, a scythe?
03:31 The ability to control time?
03:32 Big whoop.
03:33 - What moments from filming do you hope
03:35 make the blooper reel?
03:37 - Oh, there's one where I launched through a glass pane.
03:40 - Oh, I remember that.
03:41 - Oh my God. - Oh, I want that to make,
03:43 I want that to make the cut.
03:44 - We were sprinting through the train in episode four.
03:47 Me and Leia are right behind Aryan,
03:49 and the door is open this way.
03:51 And so Aryan stopped and tried to open the door,
03:53 and we both ran into him,
03:54 and he punched through the glass.
03:56 - It was awesome, I felt really cool.
03:58 - It was really cool. - It shattered.
04:00 - What's your favorite quality of your character?
04:02 - Yeah, Grover's really ripped,
04:03 and he's really good looking.
04:05 Which is something I also have,
04:06 but I also admire them about Grover.
04:08 - I think that's how I relate to Percy too, he's jacked.
04:10 - Yeah. - And I feel like
04:11 I can really connect to him that way.
04:13 - That's why there's also prosthetics,
04:15 'cause you know, like, they also add it to you.
04:17 - Right. - When you don't have it.
04:18 - Yeah. - Yeah.
