00:00 Okay, you know, House of Jojo is my personal story once again, but you know, it has an
00:15 opportunity to unveil the unconscious bias and honestly to promote harmony and create
00:25 space and further the agenda of inclusion. And I know it shouldn't be all about, you know,
00:34 human qualities, but I like a show to reflect the times and I'm going, I'm taking that
00:41 opportunity with House of Jojo again, you know, to tell stories, to empower and inspire, but most of
00:48 all I want to entertain the people. They need to know that they're coming to a party and I encourage
00:53 everybody to dress up this time around, you know, because what I've realized in the past two years
00:58 is that everybody walks out of the theater with a bounce in their step and I say match that with a
01:06 beautiful Swarovski number, dress up, put your hair up, put on your heels because we are about
01:14 to have fun again and that's what House of Jojo is going to be about this year.
01:22 Blackpool is a vibe and will always be a vibe and I'm not just saying that, you know,
01:29 and we all know that Blackpool is the maker of ballroom dancing and I think that always
01:34 sits in the back of my head because I've known about Blackpool before I even learned about London,
01:39 you know, to learn that that's where all the big dancing legends are from around the world.
01:48 They come to Blackpool, they know where Blackpool is, they've been to the seaside,
01:52 they've had fish and chips, they know the culture, you know, they're so immersed so I have to say
01:56 that it's always nice to know. Blackpool for me feels like that, it feels like I'm going to a ball
02:03 of legends, you know, and it is, it's like I said, it's also the people, you know, because they
02:12 understand the culture and they understand dance and they respect it, they respect it. So the cheers
02:20 are louder in Blackpool and I have to say that place, that venue is one of the most exquisite
02:28 theatres I've been around. It's big but it hugs you in the most beautiful way when you're on stage
02:35 and like I said, there's nothing like it. Those people can party.
02:41 Babes, I think I'm grateful now that there's two, you know, there's two things that
02:56 summons me, there's two events in my life that summons me to Blackpool because, you know,
03:02 it was strictly that I did that for many years but since I've been doing my show, I know I'm
03:07 guaranteed a Blackpool visit once a year, you know what I mean? And I don't know how would my life be
03:12 if I didn't do that anymore but honestly, like I said to you, you know, if you live in a city like
03:20 me, you know, Blackpool is one of those places that you just, you want to retreat for the weekend
03:26 and really just because when it is hot, when it's not, not when it's miserable and it's raining and
03:32 it's cold but when it's hot, it's the most loveliest place and there's a buzz around it
03:38 and everybody is out, you understand what I'm saying? So I have to say, like I said to you,
03:42 there's just, there's a vibe about Blackpool and I love coming back there every year.
03:47 If they want to have a good time, they should get those tickets and it is a guaranteed
04:00 a variety dance show of fabulous, fabulous, fabulous costumes, lovely people. It's going to be
04:10 a lovely night out. I encourage people to just come out and have fun because I mean,
04:16 you know, let's be honest, how often do we just actually to go out in the night and let our
04:22 head loose? Make that a date with a friend, come and sit down and come and party along with us.
