00:06 We're getting a closer look at the cast of Superman Legacy.
00:09 Director and DC Studio co-chair James Gunn shared the first cast photo for the upcoming superhero
00:14 pic following their first table read for the film, which is set to hit theaters July 11, 2025.
00:20 The pic includes himself and co-chair Peter Safran and cast members including David Cornswet
00:26 playing the new Man of Steel, Rachel Brosnahan playing Lois Lane, and Nicholas Holt sporting
00:30 a shaved head to play Lex Luthor. Gunn shouted out each cast member and who they're playing
00:35 while revealing it's the first time they're all together.
00:38 One big name not pictured is Millie Alcock, who's set to star as the title hero for the feature
00:43 Supergirl Woman of Tomorrow. The Hollywood Reporter reported last month that Supergirl
00:48 is likely to pop up in at least one DC Studios project prior to leading her own film, but it
00:53 was unclear at the time if that would be Superman Legacy. In December, Gunn posted a photo of himself
00:58 and Holt breaking bread in honor of the actor joining the film. Gunn captioned the post at
01:03 the time, "We went out to dinner last night to celebrate and discuss how we can create a Lex
01:07 that will be different from anything you've seen before and will never forget."
