00:00 weight and height. It sounded like it was about a 8 pound weight discrepancy as well.
00:04 Now look, even though like Peter looks like you know he's a shorter fighter,
00:10 he does have long arms. Yeah. You know so we're gonna see if that jab from William pays off
00:15 or if he's able to counter it with the fact that maybe he's lowering his stance a little bit.
00:19 I'm curious to see you know who's gonna establish this jab with that long reach.
00:23 You know it's weird because you know as we got one of the guys at our gym Sam Lera,
00:28 shorter guy but has a really really long reach. It's very very difficult to get those kind of
00:34 fighters timing down when they have that kind of reach with that body type. And now he's landing
00:39 that diamond dynamite left hand but it all started with that jab. That covering up ain't gonna do
00:45 much. He's got to use that footwork. That right hand was nice Curtis. Right, really really nice.
00:50 He's really crisp. He's not going too crazy you know now he's trying to get his composure. He
00:53 knows he has him hurt. The confidence is going to go up only from there. Peter is dropping that
00:59 right hand when he's jabbing. You can see it right there and I'm pretty sure Will's gonna capitalize
01:03 on it probably with a left hook or a right hook's gonna come right off the bat here off of Peter's
01:10 jab. You see that right hand dropping down to his waist? That's has bad news written all over it.
01:19 Fireworks early here. I like how he's in there brawling but but William's patience. You can
01:25 just see he's he's setting him up. He's reading. He's gonna establish this jab again. Yeah because
01:30 even when he was in the fire there he wasn't throwing uh you know everything was calculated.
01:35 He was picking the shots every time. It was no wasted movement in that little firefight just now.
01:40 No no wild punches. No wasted energy. That that counter right hand is coming. I'm telling you
01:46 it's coming off that jab.
01:47 That jab is money. A little switch stance out of Peter right now.
01:54 Let's see if his defense translates to Southpaw though you know.
01:59 That right hand is a trip hammer. Trip hammer on William. I can see it.
02:08 I like his nice wide stance. He's giving a little bit of a false lead right now.
02:13 A little bit of false distancing. Just come on in. Come on in. Just a little bait and you're
02:19 gonna drop that right. Oh good. That's a good little left hand. Peter's just throwing. He's
02:23 a little bit too wild right now. William's shelling up nice and decent. There's that
02:30 counter left hook I was telling you about. Definitely got some respect. Definitely got
02:36 some space. Took some space back with that with that big left hand. I'm telling you I can see
02:42 the writing on that wall. He's gonna pull off that off that uh Peter's jab when he goes orthodox
02:47 and land that right hand. He's doing it out of Southpaw right now. He's just got to get a little
02:53 bit of range. Peter just remaining really really relaxed. Sort of letting this guy wear himself
03:04 out by hitting his shell up. Yeah as you should. When you get a guy just you know
03:10 he's fighting for his life right now. Peter's definitely fighting for his life right now.
03:14 He's doing whatever he can and you know trying to land something big and you know that was a
03:17 big shot. A little shot right there. Big shot and in this fight game that's all you really need is
03:22 one. See what now William did a real good job right there but Peter made him slug at the at
03:28 the end right there. He's just got to remain a little bit composed. Pull create that distance.
03:33 Let his long straight punches go. You know and Peter's got to calm down. And still at you know
03:37 three and oh three fights. He's still young in his career you know. He he shows some promise at the
03:42 beginning of the round backing off when he knew he had him hurt. Composing himself. Yeah. But he
03:47 doesn't even want to get into those brawls like that where he's you know taking one or two.
03:51 There's no there's no need to be in a firefight right now. Not when you're landing like straight
03:54 punches. And Peter's got to calm down a little bit. And I'm hoping his corner right now is telling
03:59 him hey you're dropping that rear hand when you're throwing that jab. You gotta you gotta pick that
04:03 thing up. You're gonna take too much damage on it. Here we go again. About to hit the start of round
04:18 two. Looks like Peter's corner is taking a little bit long to get out of that ring.
04:23 Let's see if William sets that jab in there. There it is.
04:32 Right off the bat. There's that pull.
04:33 Good. Firing that jab. Yeah. I would just like to see Peter just get his feet together. You know
04:40 his feet ends up close together. He throws a punch and you know he's starting from a negative.
04:46 He's having he's having trouble judging that distance without just going wild and trying
04:50 to close that distance. There it is. There's that trip hammer right hand.
04:58 I would not be surprised if he doesn't get up on this one. That one click turned his head a little
05:03 bit. His feet are struggling. He's got to turn around or the referee is going to stop this fight.
05:11 William needs William needs to stay composed here and just don't don't flurry. Do what you just did.
05:19 Just you know doing this you're letting them back in the fight. Give them more time to
05:24 recuperate. Get your distance. All you're going to do one or two more. He just needs to set up
05:30 that jab again and drop that right hand. Nice and long straight down the middle.
05:34 Maybe bait this jab out right there. Bait that jab out and drop it.
05:39 Don't rush it.
05:51 He's doing a good job of being real composed right here. I sort of like this.
05:54 I mean he sees he has him hurt. He sees he has them outclassed. You know why rush it?
06:00 It's not going to take too much more. The ref would look like he's going to stop it now.
06:05 He's definitely watching Peter pretty well. See but there he is. He's brawling again now.
06:10 Can't brawl. Let him wear himself out a little bit here.
06:16 Good now find that distance. There was that jab again. Set your feet. You can see Peter's
06:22 gassing right now. The conditioning is it's in rare form right here.
06:27 Right now just keep him in that corner. Keep that jab out there.
06:34 Set that jab in right now. Touch it. You can see both of them trying to catch their breath.
06:55 Trying to get their get that get those lungs back under control.
07:01 That jab that jab is something that needs to be dealt with and he's not doing much defensively.
07:06 Don't rush. He needs to stay at range if he wants to finish this and the referee jumps in and stops
07:14 it. Referee did him a favor right there and stopped that fight before it got any uglier.
07:19 Because that's it was only going to get uglier.
07:25 Hey great performance. 4-0. Three three knockouts now. TKO technically right there.
07:31 Did some really really really good things. Hopefully he goes back watching a little bit
07:36 of film and is like I saw myself get a little bit overzealous. I kept that range and this guy's
07:41 going to be a problem here in the future. Exactly especially if you know you know the tools. You
07:45 know what works for you. You know if you keep the range and you do what you're supposed to do
07:49 it was the fight was working out perfect for you. Every time you got out of character that's when
07:54 you that's those are the only times you got touched. Exactly and that comes with time in the ring and
07:59 rounds in and you know the higher level he goes gotta still be a little bit defensive when we're
08:09 in there trying to finish guys because that's when they're dangerous. They throw something wild over
08:12 the top. It's learning from yourself. Every time he was in those big situations where Peter was
08:19 wailing off on him throwing the sloppy shot he landed with hooks. You gotta understand that
08:24 other people can do the same thing. That could come right back at you. There's other people
08:28 with that skill set so you you gotta be defensively responsible at all times.
08:32 I like how he put that second right hand there that cross crosses. It's a thing of beauty.
08:41 All set up with the jab which is sort of what we do going into this thing.
