00:23 All right, let's go to our scripture. Slide number one. Slide number one.
00:30 I've got 35 minutes to rush to this meeting. I pray for Dr. Josephette Jo's anointing and
00:37 Zef Chakawa's anointing right now. Everyone say stretch. Today's message, the title of
00:44 today's message is "Stretch Your Influence." Stretch your influence. Matthew 13, verse 16.
00:53 "You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt has lost its savor, wherewith shall it be salted?
00:58 It is henceforth good for nothing." Don't you never say, "Don't be good for nothing."
01:06 "But to be cast out and trodden under the foot of men. You are the light of the world.
01:13 The city that is set on a hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle and put it under
01:18 a bushel, but on a candlestick, and it gives light to all that are in the house.
01:24 Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father
01:33 which is in heaven." So good works, big yawn, that was a big yawn. Good works equals
01:40 light shining. You may be seated. A little salt influences the entire environment.
01:49 And so you must create and maintain your own environment. When I was writing this, I was
01:55 considering a number of factors. When you create, you must create and maintain your own environment.
02:03 Dark environments are created by, number one, neglecting the truth. Ignorance,
02:10 neglecting the truth, brings a dark environment. If you're just a goof head in your marriage,
02:16 don't deny the truth. Bang your head on the floor seven times, say, "I'm a goof head.
02:22 I'm a goof head. I'm a goof head." And then after that, seven times, "I need help.
02:27 I need help. I need help." Or else you'll be walking into an abyss of darkness, and
02:32 forty years down the road, you're going to be an old cranky man, woman, in a total world
02:37 of total darkness and oblivion. Number two, complacency creates, a dark environment
02:47 is created by complacency. Demonic infiltration creates darkness, a dark environment.
02:56 Dark illicit practices, dark illicit practices creates a dark environment. One of our friends,
03:05 almost as a brother, I'm talking now, in the early 80s, married one of the most beautiful
03:12 girls on a campus. She was totally beautiful. Totally, totally, she was beautiful. And then
03:19 several years into the marriage, he discovered she had another life, a very dark life.
03:25 She was in church on Sundays doing the Sunday thing. From Monday to Friday, he was working
03:29 hard hours and so on. He didn't know that she was working in a strip club, a pole dancer.
03:34 He had no idea. It was revealed by mistake. Another one, a woman didn't know that her
03:41 husband, the pastor, didn't know for 20 years that he was a major drug dealer. And the only
03:46 way they discovered, he was killed in a motorcycle accident, and they found money and drugs on
03:52 him. Another one, for years and years and years, didn't know that her husband had a
03:57 gay partner. And so the thing is that dark illicit practices create darkness in your
04:05 life, your soul. Economic collapse can do that, and so can a lack of education/ignorance.
04:11 You should find yourself in an, if, should you find yourself in an undesirable environment,
04:19 you must, you must apply salt and light, which is to activate positive influences and change
04:28 in your life. I need to go for reading lessons. I can't write, read what I'm writing. Darkness
04:32 is no match for light. Say that. Any dark place in your life must be overturned with
04:39 shining light on it. You ought to shine light on it. From darkness in your soul to darkness
04:50 in an environment, you got to shine a light on it. There are dark philosophies, dark spirits,
04:56 dark people. Look at somebody. Dark agendas, dark countries, dark neighborhoods, dark families,
05:05 dark souls, shine a light on dark places. It was shocking, stunning, unacceptable that
05:16 the Russian activist was killed in that manner. And we know who did that. It wasn't a gas.
05:23 It wasn't a poison. We know who did that. And there's a track record of dark people
05:28 who keep on doing dark things. And the minute, as long as you, as long as you tolerate and
05:39 subliminally support dark people, that darkness is like a bad cancer, metastasizing and spreading
05:46 to ways uncontrollable. And what happens with that people that were good also become dark
05:52 because the dark world pays big money. It really does. And so the, they that dwell in
06:03 darkness, the Bible says in Matthew 4 verse 16, those that dwell in darkness saw great
06:08 light and those in the shadow of death, in the shadow of death, not dead, great light
06:14 has been manifested. That's Zebulun in that particular area. So Jesus came and sheds the
06:21 light where there was no light for over 400 years. So influence and stretching influence
06:28 in terms of light and salt has a partner in the scripture, which is called leaven or yeast.
06:35 And so yeast then is an agent that influences its environment. It's a silent operator.
06:43 It's a silent assassin. You take a little bit of yeast or baking powder or leaven and
06:50 you put it in dough. And then overnight, if you're making bread, as my mom did all the
06:56 time when we were growing up, that dough would rise. The yeast will have taken over that
07:02 entire environment. And so in the scripture, the new Testament, they are five kinds of
07:09 leaven, things that influence an environment. Okay. So there's the leaven of the Pharisees,
07:16 the leaven of the Sadducees, the leaven of Herod, the leaven of the Galatian church and
07:22 the leaven of the Corinthian church. Slide number seven, the leaven of the Pharisees,
07:29 his hypocrisy. 16, six of Matthew, Jesus said to them, take heed and beware of the leaven
07:37 of the Pharisees and the Sadducees. And then they understood they, how that he bade them
07:46 to not beware of leaven in physical bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and the
07:54 Sadducees. He said, be careful. These guys doctrine is very destructive. Okay. In the
08:00 meantime, Luke 12, one, when they were gathered together in innumerable and innumerable multitude
08:09 of people in so much that they trot upon another, he began to say to his disciples, first of
08:16 all, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy. And so a hypocrite is
08:26 the worst of all individuals. Just hit me as it is. Don't be two faced. You don't like
08:34 me. Tell me up front. Don't be a donkey kicker. Just tell me up front. Are you listening?
08:41 Don't be a, etc. The thing is that up front, don't schmooze me. Hypocritical people is
08:54 like, Oh, you know, uh, uh, you might China X, you know, we go back together. We are thick.
09:04 We are together. And then after you share a little something, they go behind your back
09:09 and tell somebody and they weaponize it against you. Don't be a hypocrite. Tell your neighbor
09:15 with an attitude. Don't be a hypocrite. I don't even like hypocrites. I don't like
09:21 people and I don't like critters. Number two, the leaven of the Sadducees, the Sadducees
09:32 are religious sick. Like the Pharisees, the Pharisees were a religious political sect.
09:38 Let me go back to hypocrisy. Can I go back to hypocrisy? Yeah, let me go back to hypocrisy.
09:46 If you are going to go to another church, you are welcome to go. You are free. It's
09:53 a free world. Join Zanu BFCCC, MDC, ANC, XYZ. Join them. Where all the cards do all of that.
10:01 Go to, but don't. When you see me say, Oh, Bishop, you know, we love you. We in the church,
10:05 we supporting, you know, no, be up front. If you're going to play for somebody else,
10:15 don't play. It's fine. I'm fine with it. I'm 67 years old. I've been married 42 years.
10:21 I'm guaranteed a kiss today. But don't hypocrite around. Just be straight. Be straight. Be
10:38 straight. Number two, the Sadducees deny the supernatural. The same day, the Sadducees
10:44 came to him. They say there is no resurrection. Acts chapter 23 and verse eight, there was
10:50 a dispute against the religious political sex, sex against the apostle Paul. And one
10:58 of the group were the Sadducees for the Sadducees say there is no resurrection. There's no angel.
11:04 There's no spirit, but the Pharisees confess both. And so within religious circles, there
11:10 are those that don't believe that healing is in the church. They don't believe in a
11:16 five-fold ministry. They don't believe that praise and worship the way we are enjoying
11:21 it. Who's enjoying the praise and worship? Incredible. Amen. And so there are those that
11:26 believe that's not necessary. You know, some people say our praise was not necessary. I'll
11:31 just slip in at the end or just whatever and leave before. And so you get yourself into
11:36 a place where you become a sad you see until your child needs prayer until you discover
11:49 your wife's a drug addict until you in a place where suddenly you need to see one of the
11:55 doctors because you have an ailment. People that say that they don't believe in God. The
12:00 first thing they call out for in the middle of an accident, they suddenly start trying
12:04 to find God said you sees us close to hypocrisy. A sad you see that denies the supernatural
12:13 will discover the supernatural when they're in dire need and in great place of pain. And
12:19 so there's a lady that always denied there was a God until their grandchild had a heart
12:24 problem. Suddenly they wanted people that have been praying for years to pray. The third
12:31 sect of Levin is the Levin of Herod. Herod kills the anointing. They are five Herod's
12:37 in the scripture from here the great when he killed babies in Jesus day to Herod the
12:42 terrible who killed James in Acts chapter number number 12. Herod the king that killed
12:53 John the Baptist. The Herod's were killers. They kill the anointing and sometimes you
12:59 can have a Herod spirit in church where people sit and kill the anointing. Don't be a Herod
13:06 verse 15 of chapter 8 of the book of Mark and he charged them saying take heed beware
13:12 of the Levin of the Pharisees and the Levin of Herod. Herod is a killer. Don't kill the
13:18 anointing. Don't kill it. The thing that we work that works against us is always time
13:26 just because we're trying to get the next service in and so on. We can't wait for kingdom
13:30 of the world where we can have one massive service and can have every expression of the
13:35 move of God can have all night praise and worship. You leave when you need to leave
13:40 because it's it will be enough parking enough space enough lighting etc etc. But generally
13:46 Herod's kill babies. They kill apostles. They kill prophets. They kill joy. They kill
13:55 breakthrough. They kill the power of God. We come against the spirit of Herod and say
14:00 you will not kill what God has started. And then there's the Levin of the Galatians which
14:06 is hypocrisy. Paul said you ran well. You have a great testimony. You acknowledge that
14:11 God did well. In chapter number 3 of Galatians he said who have bewitched you that you have
14:16 been deterred from the power of God. What kind of spirit has come against you that that
14:23 you are now walking away from the truth. He said you were redeemed by by the precious
14:29 blood of Jesus. Christ has redeemed you from the curse of the law being made a curse for
14:33 us that the blessing of Abraham had come upon you. And then he says you ran well. What has
14:39 hindered you that you should not obey the truth. Now you in darkness a little Levin
14:45 Levin's the whole how a lump. The Levin of Galatia is legalism where they said you have
14:52 to do certain things to be saved. In this case it was legalism. So we come from a system
14:59 where if you did such and such you were considered not to be saved. If a woman cut her hair,
15:05 if a woman wear trousers, if you watch television, if you drank coffee, if you read the newspaper,
15:10 if you took tablets, you were not saved. That's what we came from. And so that's a system
15:16 of legalism way. It's is believed that works get you into heaven. And so in one of those
15:24 churches in the UK, when you walk into Calvary temple, they had a list of things that women
15:32 were not allowed to do in order to be saved and what they were supposed to do. And the
15:36 list for men was that short, which reveals the kind of thinking of the individuals that
15:42 were the patriarchs or leaders of that church, a very anti-woman progressive ministry.
15:48 Parsi! Amen. All the women tell you, you cooking tonight, except me. Amen. Amen. Dr. Mazinga
16:01 and Dr. Ned. The truth of the matter is that legalism is a killer. Is a killer. Legalism
16:09 can slip into service format. It can slip into our liturgies. It can slip into the way
16:15 we do things and prayer. We have to be fluid. He said, we, we, we, in later on in that same
16:23 chapter, he talks about the works of the flesh and the fruit of the spirit, the fruit of
16:27 the spirit. There are no bounds to it. The works of the flesh leads you into a very dark
16:32 world. Then there's the level of, uh, number five, the level of Corinth, which is perversion.
16:40 He says in Corinth, he says, he's reported to me that one of you guys are sleeping with
16:44 your mother-in-law. He's like, what's wrong with you guys? He said, you have all this
16:49 kind of, you're sleeping with teenagers. There's all kinds of stuff going on. You're going
16:53 to church naked. He's like, what kind of church is this? What kind of church is this? And
16:58 he said, this is destroying sexual perversion will destroy your church and the ministry.
17:04 It will not be so among us. I said, it will not be so among us. So salt, then like yeast
17:10 is an influencer. It's just a little bit of salt, a little bit of yeast that can influence
17:16 influence a whole bunch of things. Numbers 18, 19, all the heave offerings of the Holy
17:22 things, which the children of Israel offer to the Lord. This is a covenant of salt forever
17:29 before the Lord to you and to your seed. And so there's three scriptures, which I won't
17:34 give you that talks about and mentions the covenant of salt. You're going to study it
17:38 for yourself. All of these with King David, who went into a covenant of salt, which basically
17:45 is salt, then signifies to purify the covenant where the covenant is not corruptible. So
17:53 that's why when two lovebirds and of course we just lit a candle, right? Yeah. We just,
18:00 we just had to light our candle, but sorry. Now they do salt and sand and oil and leaves
18:09 and tying hair and changing classes and changing teeth at all the weddings, all these things.
18:16 And the marriage officer has to be educated as to what the couples are doing. You know,
18:23 they eat ice cream and so on. Oh, I can eat you. My, my raspberry ice cream. You are my
18:28 stupid here. Are you my love? No, no, no, no, no, no, no. So the covenant of salt then
18:41 is to imply that our covenant is number one is pure is non-corruptible. Number two, salt
18:51 removes infection. Number three, salt cleanses septic wounds similar to number two, number
18:59 three, it preserves the covenant. Number four, it's indissoluble, which means it's incapable
19:05 of being annulled. It adds flavor and savor. And so the Velakis is that's Chichi and her
19:12 people, Eugene and these people here, uh, no matter what, no matter what, when the food
19:17 comes, the first thing they do, they put salt on the food. It's like a snowstorm. It's like
19:22 a blizzard going through their food. And the crazy thing is that all of them, their blood
19:27 pressure is 120 over 72. So she, she says, I'm the salt of the earth. I'm the salt of
19:33 this family. And so sometimes when you have certain conditions, high blood pressure and
19:41 so on, et cetera, your physician will tell you, you got to loosen up on the salt, got
19:46 to loosen up on the salt. And so if you're eating bland food, a little bit of salt makes
19:52 the food taste better. But I'm told, which I've not experimented on, I tried for two
19:56 and a half hours to have a saltless diet, but I'm told that once you eat food without
20:02 salt, it actually does taste nice because you get used to what food actually tastes
20:07 like, what an egg tastes like, what a vegetable actually is. Uh, that's an area of discovery.
20:12 I'm not too, uh, discovery channel excited about exploring, but the point is that you
20:18 become a pillar of salt, which is an influence. Say I'm the salt of the earth, influence your
20:26 neighborhood. If there's rubbish in your entire neighborhood, just clean your yard, clip your
20:32 grass, make sure the head look, the hedge looks nice. Your dog mustn't come up looking.
20:39 I mean, you're living in Borneo and your dogs look like they're coming from the extended
20:43 part of Rushinga. The greatest network in the world is not WhatsApp. It's the, it's
20:53 the domestic workers network. They know everything about everybody in the area. This one here,
21:00 he's got a small house here. What are the others? One drinks on the side. They keep
21:04 their money under their underwear. Wow. Wow. Yeah. Ah, this one here, the wife hits him
21:10 every day. He's just walking around thinking like it's a domestic servants. They know,
21:16 but like she said, even the servants are very hip. The servants are happy, happy, happy
21:23 shout. I'm salt. Shout. I'm salt. Don't let any person put a mark against you to say you
21:30 are a bad influence. I'm going to deal with those in a minute. Well, maybe two salt. Then
21:37 he's seen in one of my favorite stories in second Kings two verse 19, the first miracle,
21:44 the second miracle Floyd of that of, uh, Elijah, the prophet, the water in Jericho was bad.
21:51 The reason the water was bad because the people were bad. Elijah had crossed over Jordan with
21:58 the anointing of Elijah who crossed over Jordan. The prophetic core denied Elisha the rights
22:05 and the privilege of being the double portion prophets. And in so doing the prophetic contamination
22:14 of not accepting the new leader contaminated the people and the city. And it went to the
22:19 life source, the water spot and the water spot became poisoned. So now they had to come
22:25 to the life source, turn to your neighbor and say, you've got to go to the life source.
22:31 I'm going to preach this thing hard. Now, tell me you've got to help me. You've got to go
22:35 to the life source. When things start failing you in your life, you're going to have to
22:41 come to the life source. At some point, you have to come back to your mother and come
22:46 back to your father and make it right. You have to come back to the life source. And
22:52 so they came back to Elisha and Elisha said to them, he said, take me to the source of
23:00 this problem. And the Bible says in chapter number two and verse 20, he found that the
23:07 water was bad and the land was barren. Bad water means barren lands. And so the Bible
23:16 says, he said, bring me a new cruise and put salt in it. And they brought it to him and
23:23 he went forth to the spring, the source of the waters. And the Bible says he cast, he
23:30 cast the salt there and said, thus says the Lord, the waters have been healed. I have
23:38 healed the waters. And then he prophesied there shall not be from now on any death or
23:44 barren land. That word is for somebody here. You need a new cruise. I said, you need a
23:53 new vessel. You need a new transportation mode. What you have been using has not taken
24:01 you to your destination. You got to get off this train and jump on another. That bus is
24:08 not going anywhere. Leave that combi and find another combi. If your vehicle isn't working,
24:15 if that pot isn't cooking, if that stove isn't for pouring, you got to change the vessel.
24:23 Turn to your neighbor, say change now. Change your vessel. Don't be the same person. You
24:31 can't take salt and use an old vessel. Slap your neighbor, say it's time for change. I
24:39 feel new vessels are coming. I need a new vessel for my next 42 years. I need salt,
24:50 but my salt needs a new vessel. Shout I'm the salt of the world. Shout I'm the salt
24:57 of the world. Your salt, I said your salt as a single degree person has lost its savor.
25:09 That simple degree is a simple vessel and that vessel is old now. The salt has lost
25:18 its savor. The new level is a master's degree vessel because the salt on this level can't
25:26 salt the new level. Talk to me somebody, if you're going to the next level, next level
25:33 salt is needed, but it needs a new vessel. Shout amen. Don't go to a cheap university.
25:43 Don't become a self-proclaimed doctor. You need to do the work with the credible vessel
25:51 because the source is poisoned. It only will acknowledge a new vessel and savory salt.
25:59 And when you get to the source, don't respect the poison. Don't respect the contamination.
26:08 Show your disgust by casting there and tell the devil, enough is enough. I'm going with
26:19 the violence to the next level. The violent take it by force. I'm sick. I said, I'm sick
26:27 of being on the same level. I'm sick of having the same qualifications. I'm sick of speaking
26:34 the same language. I'm sick of trying to get a different results with a single effort.
26:41 sick of being a one dimension person and so I'm casting I'm casting I'm casting
26:49 that vessel and I'm casting new salt and I'm going higher shout three times I'm
26:57 salt I'm salt I'm salt I'm taking over the meat I'm taking over the vegetables
27:06 I'm taking over the potatoes I'm taking over the muriwa I am salt shout I am
27:13 salt I am salt every weapon has to be moved clap your hands seven times give
27:25 him a praise because God is making you an influencer clap your hands six times
27:33 shout the salt is working I'm changing my environment I'm changing my family
27:42 I'm changing my children I'm changing my law firm I'm changing my institution
27:50 clap your hands nine times give him a praise for birthing new things look at
28:03 that poison I said look at that sickness look at that poverty look at that
28:08 unemployment and take your salt and throw it there and say I have a job I
28:14 have a business I have a new car I have a new ministry I have a new vocabulary
28:22 clap your hands five times shout to the Lord the salt is working the poison is
28:31 gone the sickness is removed the new day is here the day is dawning the
28:37 breakthrough has come clap your hands three times give God a praise clap your
28:44 hands twice clap your hands once shout it's my day I am the salt snap some on
28:53 the first bump say let's salt together give him praise give him praise I said
29:01 give him praise for the things he's about to do in your life yeah clap your
29:12 hands seven times you may be seated

29:31 Tanashi ran 42k's Tanashi ran 42k's on Saturday last week I need 42 so so so
29:43 you can see he's a bar guard he's 42k's so so when you're running at that pace
29:52 he did very well his times were excellent the guy that ran and won that
29:57 marathon had an extraordinary time but when you're running and adrenaline is
30:03 pushing and determination is driving you and you're trying to break a record you
30:10 begin to perspire I'm not much of a sweater fortunately but many times when
30:15 I'm running I can feel salt on my forehead where there was perspiration
30:20 which means that you are now expending your body is is getting rid of the
30:26 essential salt important sugars and I'm not a doctor just but but just from
30:37 experience now some of you have been driving your life so hard you've been
30:44 pushing your life your business your marriage so hard and because you have
30:52 been driving yourself so hard you've been losing essential fluids yes and the
31:02 components in that fluid is salt saline and when you have lactic acids crop up
31:11 in your joints your mind wants to run but your body can't run you've lost so
31:20 much salt it would be advisable that you find something salty or something sweet
31:29 or something sweet and salty to compensate for what you have lost
31:36 don't be like Sandra and I and drink a cup of coffee when you're losing your
31:43 energy and dying of thirst find something that has salt in it when you
31:51 have a neighborhood or you have a family that's been running themselves very
31:59 rugged you have got to be as the oldest of ten as the youngest of seven as the
32:07 only sister in a family as a middle brother to many who don't give a rip
32:12 about where they are you're gonna have to step up and be salt for your sister
32:18 be salt for your grandbabies be salt for the school be salt for the
32:24 university be salt for the government you're representing be salt in the
32:30 business that has employed you don't complain just influence a very silently
32:38 yeah amen the business may be bland I said the business may be bland the
32:44 manager might be a goofhead but when they walk out of the office take a
32:49 little bit of salt and pour it on the on the purchasing department up put a
32:54 bit of salt on the export department up don't make a noise and say it's because
33:00 of me that this meat is so good you wouldn't be good if it wasn't for the
33:07 meat but I want the meat to know that I have influence I can change the pot I
33:13 can change the business I can shed a little lighter you don't have to be as
33:19 bright as the Sun just be a candlelight in that dark officer be a candle lighter
33:25 in that dog family you don't have to be like a 5000 watt lighter just be a
33:33 little match lighter match and shed a lighter shout I'm an influencer I'll do
33:41 great things in a small way I'll change the nation a candle at the time I'll
33:46 change the pot a grain of salt at the time I'll change my future with a small
33:53 lump of salt in my strategic plan I am the salt I am the blessing I am the
34:00 future give someone a high-five say your life is boring get some salt your life
34:07 is so bland get some salt get a swagger do something in your life give the Lord
34:15 a praise by clapping your hands clap those hands a little bit harder
34:22 Chino be salt Frank be a lighter Sandra be a bright light in a dark world
34:32 Chi Chi thank you for adding spice in 42 years shout I am salt clap your hands
34:40 seven times I will not be homeless I will not be broke I will not be barren I
34:50 will not be poor I will not be naked I will not be stupid I will not be angry I
34:57 will not be jealous clap your hands six times
35:02 clap your hands six times give God a praise for the salt shout I am the salt of the world
35:17 I have lost my savor can I preach for two more minutes I am the salt I am the
35:25 light I intend to make a difference give him a praise as you stand
35:49 everybody stands I'm a good influence don't be a bad influence now some people
36:01 that have been giving people advice and when you track the people that they have
36:08 advised whose lives have been destroyed at some point you have to say this
36:13 person is not salt they are destructive because all the people they have
36:18 counseled in marriage in business in life even in football they're still
36:25 supporting Wigan and so before you go and get advice or counsel find out if
36:35 the person whom you are seeking counsel from look at their track record to see
36:41 if they are salt look at the track go to see is there light or is there darkness
36:55 here because the hypocrite is revealed by the fruit so if a person says I'm a
37:08 grape but when you leave there I'm ever
37:13 you're trying to walk but but but but you know the Vahabiki thorn is Vah Vah
37:21 Mira you're trying to walk and the thorn is holding you do not go to people who
37:28 have no salt you have to be with your salt on it
37:33 don't go to a person who's track record who is a bad influence there's no light
37:38 their marriage is messed up their business is messed up their life is
37:42 messed up their words are messed up they don't worship they don't how are you
37:46 gonna go to a person like that to get advice go to somebody who has a track
37:53 record that has shown consistently salt and light salt and light
38:02 here comes salt the ladies and light the men
38:08 bad influences it's like 29 let me pull a dr. Ned's it's like 29 a bad influence
38:28 Korra date them in a Bible number 16 they came against Moses the ten spies
38:34 that cost people their lives in the wilderness 40 years bad influence
38:40 Absalom a coup d'etat attempted coup removed his father slept with his
38:45 concubines the prophets the old prophet that destroyed the young prophets bad
38:50 influence their news outlets propaganda machines entertainment arena music movie
38:57 that are bad influence Hitler was a bad influence when he published Mein Kampf
