The Aston Martin Aramco Formula One® Team is proud to debut its new challenger for the 2024 season – the AMR24. On a significant day for Aston Martin, the new Vantage road car and Aston Martin Vantage GT3 join the AMR24 marking a trilogy of reveals.
In its iconic racing green livery, complete with Aramco title partner branding, the AMR24 represents a strong and exciting evolution from its predecessor which catapulted the team to eight podiums and 280 points in 2023. The AMR24 evolves the same design philosophy but there is minor carryover with the majority of the parts being new for 2024. The continuous refinement of the AMR24 has resulted in a lighter, more aerodynamically efficient race car, designed to operate across a wider range of circuits.

00:08 It is incredibly exciting to present the world with our new car, the AMR24,
00:13 after an enormous amount of work behind the scenes over the winter and even at the end of last season.
00:20 The key areas of focus over the winter have really been trying to expand on the good aspects of last year's car.
00:26 This is really a strong evolution of the AMR23 and we've focused on all areas of the aerodynamics
00:32 and we've also looked at some of the mechanical components as well.
00:36 But it is an evolution and we're looking for it to be a good platform for development through the year.
00:41 So this is the first car that we've developed here at this new Technology Campus
00:45 and that does play a big part in its evolution.
00:48 We have manufacturing facilities on site now which we haven't had before.
00:53 We have offices where people are much more able to communicate better than we were before
00:58 and that has an enormous impact on the way that we communicate, the way we operate as a team
01:02 and it really helps us to be more cohesive and hopefully put a better package together.
01:08 So the development strategy for this car is really to make sure we take the basis of this car and evolve it.
01:15 We've got some very clear directions of things we want to do.
01:19 We want to see how they operate on track and we want to make sure that we get some good updates
01:24 coming along at regular intervals to make sure that we show that performance improvement
01:29 and move our way up the grid.
01:31 So we had a very strong year last year and we want to make sure that we make a step on that
01:36 and show increased progression this year.
01:39 And really our target is to continue to score points, to score more podiums
01:44 and to hopefully look for our next win in green.
