00:04 Hello, my name is Skylar Gerard of Fan Nation The Grove Report and here's your latest football news.
00:08 Now former Ole Miss Rebels quarterback Matt Corral has gone to the UFL for professional football.
00:13 Matt Corral signed with United Football League's Birmingham Stallions reported indicated on Tuesday night.
00:18 James Larson was the first to report the news.
00:20 Corral's career began in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers in 2022, followed by a brief stint with the New England Patriots.
00:27 Corral was with the Rebels for Lane Kiffin's first two seasons at Ole Miss and led Ole Miss to the Sugar Bowl but had an ankle injury in the Sugar Bowl.
00:34 In four years at Ole Miss, Corral threw for 8,000 yards and 57 touchdowns, including a superb 2021 season that featured 20 scores and just five interceptions.
