00:03 You know, I decided to move to Maine to pursue nursing.
00:06 And I-- nursing is just--
00:08 it's such a huge career.
00:11 And I think people think, like, oh, you just go,
00:12 and then you get medicine, and you
00:14 have your cute little scrubs.
00:15 And nursing is just so tough, though.
00:17 I know you see so much, and there's so many things
00:19 that come from that.
00:20 And it takes a really strong person to do that, so.
00:23 I'm in the ICU, so you definitely are seeing--
00:26 You know--
00:27 --everything.
00:28 And people passing away, and you're like--
00:32 you know, you take on those emotions that, like, families
00:35 have and that patients have.
00:36 And I've been with people, too, who
00:39 say, like, dating a nurse is hard
00:41 because we work long hours.
00:42 And it's a lot emotionally to take on when you have a partner
00:46 who's in the medical field.
00:47 I never want someone to feel uncomfortable
00:49 with what I do as a career, but it's a huge part of me.
00:52 And like--
00:53 You need that.
00:54 I can't change my--
00:54 I can't change my job.
00:56 You have to have someone you can talk to about that.

01:00 Rachel is obviously someone that
01:02 takes a lot of pride in what she does
01:04 and just loves helping people.
01:06 And I think it's beautiful.
01:09 Dating a nurse is a tough thing, and she's had
01:11 issues with that in the past.
01:12 So if we are going to be in a serious relationship
01:15 and she's my future partner, I have to be
01:19 aware and considerate of that.
01:22 The moment I met you, I felt very calm and safe with you.
01:25 You deserve someone to take care of you.
01:28 You deserve someone to make you feel safe.
01:31 Like, after today, too, I just realized
01:32 that I am deserving of, you know, what you have to offer.
01:35 And like, you know, I've told you
01:36 that you remind me of my dad.
01:37 And there's just so many characteristics
01:39 I saw in you today that really hit home for me
01:42 and made me realize that I want a partner for life
01:45 and I want someone who makes me feel how you feel.
