00:00 Senators questioned the inclusion of a DSWD program in the 2024 National Budget that is possible to use in the People's Initiative.

00:22 In the Senate's investigation of the People's Initiative, some senators paid attention to the ACAP or Ayuda para sa Kapos Ang Kita,

00:44 and those who graduated from the four-piece or Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino program who need help to avoid going back to poverty.
00:52 But the senators were worried that the fund was used as a tool to get signatures for the charter change.
00:59 I was also surprised by the ACAP and I was more surprised by the amount, P26.7 billion.
01:06 It's a program that I just heard about and discovered, but it's written in the text, all soft projects including ACAP must go through the office of the speaker.

01:25 But Senator Amy Marcos is wondering, the ACAP is not included in the budget deliberations of the government.

02:53 There's no guideline yet so we haven't paid out.
02:56 We will not use all of the programs of DSWD in any political exercise.
