This video captures a scene that could easily be mistaken for a nightmare.

The footage portrays the distressing flooding on Beta Street in San Diego, where houses and cars are partially submerged in floodwaters.

Duncan, the filmer, recounted his experience to WooGlobe, saying, "I woke up around 10 am and saw it was raining outside. I started to take videos of the rain and events as the morning went on."

In the video, Duncan is seen standing atop a roof, having also assisted his neighbors and a dog to safety. He pans the camera to show people on the ground, perched on their cars to evade the flood's fury.

"It was around 1:28 pm when the water had started to recede about 1.5-2’ and we had started to get rescued," Duncan added.
