00:14 - Yeah.
00:15 - What's going through the mind of a quarterback
00:18 as they get ready throughout the week
00:20 and what would you say to them,
00:21 especially a guy like Brock,
00:23 - Yeah, sure.
00:24 - To stay away from those distractions, to stay focused?
00:25 - Yeah, there's always a,
00:27 you know, it's always a good question.
00:28 I remember, you know, my days, I was the youngest,
00:31 still maybe one of the youngest quarterbacks
00:33 to start in the Super Bowl.
00:35 And I thought, you know, I thought I was gonna be back.
00:38 You know, I thought I was gonna be there many times
00:40 and, you know, it just didn't work out.
00:42 I'd say, take, you know, if I was him,
00:44 just make sure you're prepared,
00:46 take care of the situation and just let it flow, man.
00:49 And hopefully you can be the winner at the end
00:52 and have that legacy with you for the rest of your life.
00:55 And I love the story with him, you know,
00:58 because him being the last guy drafted in the draft.

01:01 - And also he said his dad was a Marino fan.
01:05 He wears 13.
01:06 So I got out, so I want to see him win.
01:08 - Yeah, okay.
01:09 So you heard him first.
01:11 He wants the Niners, he wants Brock Brady to win.
01:13 - I think Kansas City's gonna win,
01:14 but I'd be happy if they don't win.
01:15 - Yeah, I think Kansas City's gonna win.
01:16 It's hard to bet against Patrick Mahomes.
01:18 Let's talk about Patrick for a minute.
01:20 - Sure.
01:20 - Would you say he's a top five Q of all time already?
01:25 - Yeah, I mean, look at you.
01:26 It's hard to compare everybody as far as top five, 10,
01:29 whatever it is, but he's been three
01:34 of the last four Super Bowls, right?
01:36 I mean, that's a lot at a young age and he's won two
01:39 and has a chance to win another one.
01:40 So yeah, you got to consider him
01:41 being one of the best ever for sure.
01:43 - For sure, okay.
01:45 So what you guys don't know,
01:46 he was on the staff at Miami when I was playing there.
01:49 So let's talk about Miami a little bit, man.
01:51 So what does Tua and Coach McDaniels have to do
01:54 to take the Dolphins to the next level
01:56 or to bring them here next year?
01:58 - Yeah, well, I think it's just continue to grow
02:00 as a team and their offense.
02:02 I felt really good about what the Dolphins were doing.
02:08 And then we got 30 ends of the year
02:11 and there was not an excuse, but a lot of injuries.
02:14 - Yes, yes.
02:14 - And a lot of injuries that kind of just took its toll on us
02:18 and we had to win some games that were on the road
02:20 that were tough and it just didn't work out.
02:23 Now I think that you learn from that, you grow from that.
02:27 And what McDaniels is doing with the team
02:30 and his offense and how he's helping Tua develop,
02:34 I think is outstanding.
02:35 So I believe we have enough people
02:37 to be able to get to a Super Bowl.
02:39 - Yeah, I do too.
02:41 So let's talk about your partnership with M&M's, man.
02:43 - Oh yeah.
02:44 Well, so M&M's, I'm in a commercial,
02:47 a Super Bowl commercial with Bruce Smith,
02:50 T.O. and Scarlett Johansson.
02:52 - Oh wow. - Yeah.
02:53 And we're doing a commercial on M&M's,
02:57 doing a peanut butter ring
02:59 for those who did not win championships.
03:02 And so it's kind of to make fun of the fact
03:05 and Bruce lost four of them, you know,
03:08 and everybody, I lost one,
03:10 but it turns out to be pretty cool.
03:12 And they're building a championship ring
03:13 out of diamonds and peanut butter.
03:16 And you can actually see it.
03:18 It's in Las Vegas M&M store.
03:20 So if someone wants to go by there and check it out
03:22 and it has real diamonds.
03:24 So, I mean, pretty cool.
03:25 So I'll get my ring after the Super Bowl.
03:29 M&M's ring.
03:30 - Edible ring.
03:31 - Oh yeah.
03:32 - As we take off out of here,
03:34 give me your Mount Rushmore of cues in your eyes.

03:39 So I gotta go back to the guys I played against.

03:46 - And I always loved Joe Namath.
03:47 I always loved Bradshaw.
03:49 But to me, Montana and Elway,
03:52 Jim Kelly, those guys, all those guys, that's three.
03:55 Yeah. And so, no, I'm not gonna do that.
03:59 That's for someone else to say that,
04:01 but I feel like I could play with all those guys.
04:04 So that's, but yeah, some great players.
04:07 And Patrick Mahom wins this game this week.
04:12 He's gotta be considered one of the best ever too.
04:14 You know, and you got Tom Brady, you got,
04:16 you know, a lot of guys.
04:17 So there's a lot to pick from there.
