What are the differences between introvert vs extrovert vs ambivert? Introverts and extroverts are extreme opposites in personality types. For the longest time though, you were considered either one or the other. But, to be either an introvert or extrovert, you have to have more of one type of trait than the other. However, there’s another personality type - ambivert. It falls somewhere in the middle of the two extremes.
So, how does an introvert vs extrovert vs ambivert differ from one another?

People who are more outspoken, socially adept and confident are categorized as extroverts. While those who isolate themselves, are more formal, talk less, and prefer to stay out of the spotlight are often labeled introverts. While the ambivert personality types are more flexible and able to adjust quite well in most situations. They like social settings and the company of others, but they also enjoy solitude.

Understanding these different personality types helps us identify strengths and weaknesses, and allows us to cooperate better with others.
